I went to dinner today. It was a great experience. Cheap price, RIP is delicious. The proportion of fat in the bone is appropriate, and the flavor is plump and not greasy. The sauce is soy, which I don't think is as good as hot sauce or cheese sauce. The chef is very friendly.
I left this place 4 hours ago and I’m still thinking about that BBQ. So good. Friendly service, family owned and operated. Come here for good food and atmosphere.
If you are in Milwaukee, you never need to eat mindless, so unless, fast food mush on a bun, because you can go to Conway's! If you've never tried smoked meat, just ask Gary and he will answer all your questions. Or you can take my advice and order the smoked ribs! There's nothing like them anywhere!

Great chill spot before concert
The best BBQ and vibes in Milwaukee are at Conway’s Smokin’ Bar & Grill! My husband and I have been coming here since we were in college and Conway’s had only gotten better with time like the fine wine they serve! Come check it out and stay awhile! You will feel right at home here! Say hello to Gary & Debbie and say a bad joke to Devin, the bartender, and you can get him to smile! (Also hit up Devin for a game of chess but be prepared to lose... he is a formidable opponent on the chess board). And if you want to keep the good times rolling after leaving Conway’s, look up “BIG JOHNSON AND THE THRUSTERS” on Apple Music and jam on to this amazing band featuring Gary himself! And if you want the live experience, come to Conway’s on the 3rd Wednesday of any month for one of their jam nights. We love Conway’s and all it has to offer and we know that you will too!
I have known the owners and staff at Conways for years. My wife and I even named our dog after this gem of bar/restaurant. The food is unbelievable and everyone here knows your name! Good times only at Conways.
