Cute little hidden gem. Food was out of the box and creative. Had a tasty twist to some classic dishes. The pie was great and the portions are awesome. The pancakes are the size of the plate! I could only eat one and I was stuffed. The french toast is thick, soft, and moist. Delicious!

Very good service and great food. It was busy but we got served right away. Parking sometimes can be a pain but today no problems. Pictured is the Avocado Toast which was fantastic. UPDATE THEY HAVE CLOSED THEIR DOORS.

A cool place to catch breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The meatloaf omelet was delicious and so was the breakfast burrito. Great portions. Serve was excellent. Don't forget to take a nitro cold Brew to go!!!

*Pre Pandemic Review*Wow. Was extremely excited to close out my Wisconsin trip with a feast. Truly disappointed. Ordered the Meatloaf and AJs Compact Turkey Dinner. Both dishes had zero to little flavor. Also our waitress lovingly pet a dog and then proceeded to serve food. Perhaps quality has gone down over time...can't imagine if Guy Fieri was tasting what I had he would have been impressed.

Very nice place where you can enjoy brunch.I think this place offers bar service too but we did stop by around noon on a Sunday. The wait to get two seats was about 15 to 20 minutes even though the place was really full (I was expecting a much longer waiting time). The staff is very friendly and the brunch menu offers a lot of options. The bloody mary (with a beer chaser) was fantastic.Make sure you stop by!

Wanted to try a place we saw on DDD. We went, we ate and we enjoyed!

shame on you for punishing organizing efforts from your workers. severance pay now. i have been a customer for years, but i will personally encourage my friends and family in milwaukee to NOT SUPPORT your business. truly, i am disappointed.

If you missed out on this: Comet Cafe workers were demanding that faulty equipment in the kitchen be fixed so that workers could actually work in good conditions. This has apparently been going on for years. It got to the point where workers were calling out everyday because the kitchen was literally too hot to work in, especially given recent temperatures. The owners decided to close down the entire restaurant instead of making repairs, leaving all of their staff to fend for themselves (remember, the extra $600 a week for unemployment ends in 2 weeks). I would not be surprised if Comet Cafe decides to re-hire all new staff, especially given how desperate people are and will be to make money during this pandemic and economic depression. Workers at Comet Cafe tried to unionize, the restaurant decided to shut down completely instead of listening to their workers, and if they decide to re-hire all new staff in an effort to suppress unionizing efforts, you best believe I won’t be supporting them at all anymore, despite the fact that their vegan breakfast burrito was one of my favorite breakfast items in town. Comet Cafe owners also own: Fuel Cafe (both locations), Bel Air (all locations), Hi Hat, Garage, Balzac, and Finks. I won’t be supporting any of these establishments anymore. As the pandemic continues and as our economy tanks even more, we must do right by our workers. People will be desperate, and that means employers will try to take advantage of that by not listening to demands, lowering pay, etc. They know they can replace you with someone who will do the work out of having no other options. Stay strong and fight back.#cometgate

First time eating here an the service was efficient and quick, the food was good too, just a little criticism fresh tomato ? are well needed other than that pretty good restaurant

The tomato soup and deserts are absolutely phenomenal. Pretty much anything you get will be tasty, drinks included!
