Closest thing to NY pizza in the Midwest, Okay maybe Wisconsin. I haven't had pizza everywhere else.However, 8 years ago I was pregnant and running through Newark Airport to catch a flight back home from Puerto Rico. Of coarse, I was also hungry. My husband being from Jersey stopped and quickly got me a slice of pizza. Yum. I was in love.Anyways, since then Classic slice has become my favorite place to get pizza back home. It's the closest we've got to that delicious East Coast pizza. My father in law, also from the East Coast introduced us to it.Now my son enjoys his Ninja Turtle pizza when we come.The slice are thin, but HUGE and delicious.
Absolutely delicious! I took my kids here for lunch! We had so much food left over, it was great for later on! I spent a little over $38 but well worth it! The place is clean and amazing seating for social distancing! We ordered a huge pizza with garlic knots and cheese bread, along with 5 drinks! There was 3 adults and 3 kids and we still had food left over! My kids loves their pizza! Its hot and fresh and the staff are amazing! Looking forward to coming here more often!
I love the smell of fresh pizza ingredients as soon as I walk into classic slice almost as much as trying their weekly special. Thank you Classic Slice for keeping the art or pizza alive!
Food is always amazing. I ordered takeout and they forgot a dressing but we’re so kind and understanding. They handled the matter nice and professional. I come about once a month. Avocado salad always had a great portion and pizza is great
Amazing pizza! Our usual is just a plain old sausage pizza but it’s so flavorful and delicious! They also have super yummy and unique pizza you can get by the slice.
I love Classic Slice. I think they have the best slices of pizza in Milwaukee. Their artichoke dip is amazing and they’re always helpful if you request extra bread to go with. The carmel cookies are beyond good.
Huge slice of pizza! Sauce, cheese and crust were all very tasty! Great environment to enjoy a slice of pizza!
I always like to support local businesses and wanted to give this place a try while in the area. Pizza preferences are very individual, and, in my opinion, Classic Slice has really good pizza. But everything about it was good, not great. The sauce was a little vinegary/sweet for my taste and the crust a bit too chewy. Customer service was fantastic. I will go back, but this won't be my "go-to" spot.
I really love this place especially since they're 2 blocks from my house. BUT - they are super inconsistent. Last night I ordered a pizza with no feta -sub Daya (vegan cheese) got a pizza with no "cheese" at all. Last time ordered Daya got their house cheese which is soy and completely different consistency. 2 times before that amazing 5 stars. The one before that half cooked. Sigh.
This place has excellent cheesy garlicky breadsticks and many great slices or build your own. 2 people full for $25-30. Definitely a classic place and fresh made style.
