2 hour waits for tacos is ridiculous when its not even that busy. Tacos were good but not worth the wait. Checked off list...good not to come back.
I cannot scream enough amazing things about @farmhousepaintbarandhall and @chuchosredtacos !!!Delicious birria tacos, delicious quesadilla, amazing art everywhere, beautiful landscaping, great music playing, friendly people working there, clean bathrooms, affordable! I could go on for hours about everything I loved about this place. Definitely a little gem and I will absolutely be going back and taking everyone I can with me next time I'm in Milwaukee-I'm from South Carolina and oh boy I'm tempted to make another trip JUST for this food!
Great place, only thing that could make it better would be a better beer selection.

I’m super torn over this review. Last year spring/early summer I came here several times and was BLOWN away by the service and food. I raved about this place and recommended lots of people.But sadly it has gone down hill. I was so excited to get these tacos again and after getting my food I’m sad to say I won’t be back. I found pieces of hair in my food, which off the bat turns me away. But while waiting for my food employees were hanging around on their phones, vaping, and ignoring customers.I really hate writing this because these were my absolute favorite tacos in Milwaukee, but after this experience I won’t be back.
GONE!!Yeap that’s right I ate it all , when I tell you my birria plate was worth every dollar , the bean the rice all flavored so wonderfully , I’m hooked!! Now the consume on the side was a bit much , you will only need a small for your dipping!!
I've tried their quesadilla, tacos, and ramen and I can wholeheartedly say that they're all delicious!!! Definitely a great place to eat. Also, the margaritas are pretty strong as well! Highly recommend visiting!One critique I have, is the service wasn't as friendly as I was hoping, but it wasn't bad necessarily. I always appreciate a super welcoming environment.
Food was really good, but service wasn’t there. Friendly workers and waited 35 minutes for our food. Was told they had a bigg order from the night before so that was why our food took longer than usual. Birria noodles were not the hype err one was talking about. The quesadillas were a good hit along with the crunchy tacos and cheesy tacos. Had steak, beef and chicken in all the dishes we tried. Will try back this spring or summer for the summer hype!!! It was just ehhhhhh! Nothing too great, the steak in my tacos were way over cooked and hard. The rice and beans were flavorless but the margarita was cool. It was pretty busy and we had to wait while the one person took phone orders also placed in restaurant orders was ridiculous. I’m happy I tried it out but now I know and probably won’t return.
I finally stopped in today about 15 minuets after open. I was told the empanadas wouldn't be ready for about another 30 minutes. I agreed to wait and enjoyed a Pina colada at the bar. The bartender Nivea was extremely warm, helpful, and professional. She greeted me as I entered, explained the menu and the "ropes" to me, and periodically offered to check the status of my food. After ordering I was refunded for the avocado I ordered as they were out of them. Fine with me.....So I waited about 1 hour before my empanadas were ready, which was a bit long but they had just opened so I was understanding but losing patience. The food tasted delicious until I found a hair in my rice. My hair is kinky, not fine and straight, no way that hair was mine. At that point my appetite was ruined. Also I requested and my receipt stated green salsa. I got red salsa instead. After the 1 hour wait and the hair in my food I would have at least felt better if the salsa was one I could actually eat for the $38.16 I paid. I'm a tad bit disappointed. I would have loved to take some friends and family here but after the hair in my food I don't know about that.The atmosphere here great though! The Pina Colada was delicious and there was no hair in it.Edit: I also found a hair in my empanada in which I waited almost 1 hour for . I will not be back. Whom ever the cook was on the morning of 2/9/2022 needs to be delt with. Almost 40 dollars for a meal I could not even eat.
