Hands down the best steak Iâve ever had. It was like velvet. You donât chew it but rather you hope it stays as long as possible before the taste disappears. The bacon appetizer was also excellent. Donât skip the donuts. Go there and be happy.

My bride & I were in Milwaukee on quick trip, and as always, I was on the hunt for the best steakhouses around me. I chose Carnevor, other the typical Google search, because of their menu, since my favorite cut of beef happens to be dry aged ribeye. The longer aged the better. The space was dimly lit with unique décor. The hostess was visibly annoyed when I asked to be seated at a different table, I just choked it up to the ignorance of youth. We started with the maple glazed thick cut bacon and beat salad. I ordered the 60 day dry aged ribeye, my bride had the fillet and the grilled asparagus as a side, the steak were wonderful even if slightly over cooked. Service was outstanding and prompt, however, the staff struggled a bit with special requests. We highly recommend this establishment.
I loved EVERY MINUTE of my time at Carnevor. The food was fantastic, the service and attention were first class. We celebrated our 11 year wedding anniversary and they gave us a special surprise dessert. 10/10. Completely recommend. We had the 8oz sirloin, twice baked potatoes and Brussels stouts with an amazing prisoner cab sav wine!
Wagyu A-5 filet was out of this world!!!! The crab legs were stringy and somewhat tasteless. The oysters were tiny!! Service was fantastic. The $168 Wagyu filet was worth it for a special occasion! Melted in your mouth!! The lobster bisque was very good!!
Overall meh. The food is good and somethingâs very good. The place is okay to look at but the service is sloppy. The price for what you get is okay but the service simply makes this place not worth it. Apparently you can pretty much wear anything and be seated.

Fantastic from the moment we walked in.
Just one small thing, the lights were turned down very low. Otherwise our experience was flawless as usual. Our server was Diana, we request her because she is that amazing. Extremely knowledgeable regarding wines and food recommendations. Carnevor made our anniversary special with the wine decanted at the table when we arrived and our own personalized menus. Special thanks to Mark H., manager, for setting everything up.
