Average or rather below average food with no taste.. or may be similar kind of taste whatever you order, but their prices are like a standard fine-dining quality restaurent. Their format is self-serve pre-payment kind of, and usually such restaurents provide you quick food, but here they'll make you wait as if they're actually cooking something fresh for you.. its your choice if you still somehow like this place.
I don’t usually post on reviews or anything but I just had to. First time going there. From where I was born in England there would be Indian restaurants around every corner.since I moved to America it’s been really to hard to find something with good prices and taste. I can finally say I found one. The food was really tasty, great flavour. The price for what I got was pretty good. Can’t wait to go back again. Definitely something I will tell everyone about it
This place is always bustling in and out with people, which already speaks highly of how good the food is. Each time I go in the workers are fast and efficient and today I got a free desert with my order! Thank you Cafe India for delicious food and high quality service :)
Food is not even remotely spicy, even when I specifically requested a higher spice level. This seems more like Indian-American rather than traditional Indian. The Naan is not the normal texture, it is very bready and lacks the chewiness of traditional Naan. There was not much base flavor to the dishes. Disappointing overall.
Happy with my first experience here. Ordered takeaway at the restaurant and it wasn’t too long of a wait despite other customers also waiting. Good food portions, reasonable prices considering the pandemic situation, and staff were working hard. Special #1 was a great introduction & variety for those newer to Indian food. Will be back!
Exceptional Indian cuisine with generous portions. Busy everyday shows the quality of their food and they don’t skimp on the proteins.
Ordered Indian food for the first time and chose this place. My boyfriend and I loved it. I got the Butter Chicken and my boyfriend got Chicken Curry. They were both so flavorful and delicious. Also good portion of a side of rice, enough for two people. The Roti bread was also amazing.
Truly fantastic food, really an underrated spot to eat. Great value for what you pay. Came for a private party buffet and they went all out to provide for us.
The rice the chicken when I say they make the best dark meat you would think it was breast. The sauces are the best refreshing from the same foods you normally eat. Love the basil the fresh basmati rice the mango lassi always quick cool people they let u try stuff out sometimes.
Cafe India was a favorite perk of working downtown. But delivery (via GrubHub) is also excellent. Had the curry (chicken & lamb), masala, & naan today - fantastic! I was not expecting the HUGE portions that come with the delivery meal - probably 3 meals for me.
