This place is OK. The food is pretty bland and the service, well let's just say the hostess was very rude to me and made me feel as though I was a burden for asking for a table. My party of 3 + my 2 year old toddler waited 50 minutes when we were told it would only be a 20 min wait. When I tried to order drinks while we were waiting she rolled her eyes at me. I ended up going somewhere else after watching 2 couples walk up and instantly get a table. I will not be coming back here again.
Awesome atmosphere, love the art and lighting. Had pork pibil tacos, they were delicious. Good bloody Mary's too.
Always delicious! We eat here often when in Milwaukee for the weekend. I tried the seafood trio burrito this time. Yum!
Cafe corazón is a small, crowded, and loud restaurant that offers Mexican food. They also offer vegan entrees. The food was okay, nothing amazing.
I'd previously rated this 5 stars, but the quality had gone down significantly in the last 18 months. I'm confused about why they describe their ingredients as farm-fresh then get food delivered by a company specializing in frozen and premade ingredients. I always select "no garnish" and write "please no cilantro crema, thanks!" in the notes on my order, but 75% of the time it's ignored. This last time, which finally made me review, they literally put two types of salsa and the most cilantro crema I've ever had on my wet burrito. I have no idea why. I tip 25-30% and order online. Salsa was fine, I'm just a weird person who can't eat cilantro (which is in the crema). I think I'll have to find a different place, it's not worth the money to be disappointed.
Nothing out of the ordinary in terms of the food but it’s awesome to have options in the area. Great atmosphere and great service. I would go again if in the area.
Delicious tacos and other stuff. I went here on a hot man-date with my co-worker and buddy Todd and got seated right away at like 1pm on a Tuesday. Food was excellent. Chips were on point.
Go here! This hidden gem has a funky way of ordering but fabulous house margarita (available in pitcher) and excellent food. Vibe is a little boutique'y and more upscale than your average Mexican restaurant but quaint and comfortable. Vegan and GF super friendly!
Used to like this place. Last night we had the worst waitress. When we walked in there was one other couple, but we were placed in the extension which was cold.Everyone else that walked in after us, was seated in the warmer part. When we asked why we were the only ones seated in the extension, her flippant reply was because of Covid. Then why was everyone else put in the other room which was smaller and more compact and the tables were closer?Other diners were told about the specials which included tacos and drinks. If we had been treated like everyone else and been told about the specials,we would have ordered the tacos and maybe drinks, instead of the more expensive entree. With their bill they were also given a Christmas coupon.Again, we had to ask for ours, otherwise she wasn't going to offer it to us.When we asked the waitress why we weren't told about the specials etc, her answer was oh I forgot, and I didn't think you were interested in drinks. We had our food boxed and came home. This waitress manged to make us feel like we weren't wanted there with her attitude and ruined our evening. I guess you have to look like everyone else there to be treated fairly.
The food here was excellent and I had wonderful service. Our server was extremely friendly and made me feel right at home. Absolutely will recommend this to all my friends. I eat a lot of tacos, my friends call me “The Taco Guy Who Eats Lots of Tacos” because I love to eat tacos. These were great tacos!!!!
