This is the best place to grab a beer or see a show in the city. And as a musician it’s the best place to play. Everything about this place is done with heart and passion, even to the point where they showed more concern for the community than many of our public institutions during the pandemic. I know of very few establishments run by such admirable people.
Best venue in the city. Safe space for everyone run by the best people. Fantastic drink selection, sound is great, hospitality for bands is outstanding. Attend or play a show here, either way you’re in the best of hands. It’s wonderful. Bless y’all.

Milwaukee’s finest venue, period. Owned and operated by people committed to treating artists and patrons with care and respect, Cactus Club is truly a space for everyone. Great staff, awesome beverage selection and the best local & national live acts, it really doesn’t get much better than this.
A+. Best venue in Milwaukee. Do you like film? They have screenings of indie movies. Do you like books? They have reading groups. Do you like concerts? They have the best music programming in the city. Oh yeah, and the sound system in there is really, really good.
This is the most inviting and unique bar I have ever been too. My only complaint is that they aren't my neighbors. I'm incredibly thankful for how they have been handling the pandemic because folks like me who are immunocompromised also want to hang out with folks sometimes.

The staff also ORGANICALLY represents this. You immediately feel welcome no matter who you are (and it doesn't feel forced).The programming and events are also super dynamic. You can catch a high energy Packer game here with punk show right after, and maybe even a jungle/idm dj, *AND* a drag show after that.The offerings overflow at Cactus Club.
Cactus Club is a very cool and quaint music venue in Bay View Milwaukee. They host bands of all genres and have a pretty small venue space. The sound quality is really good given the size but would highly recommend bringing high-fidelity/concert appropriate ear plugs because they jam hard in there. Staff is super friendly and you can enjoy a beer or 3 for cheap checking out local and traveling sounds! There's typically a cover charge to get into the venue and you can save by ordering advanced tix via their website.
Was a really cool techno show. Great bartender, great drinks, decent prices. Crazy good sound.
Wide selection of beer wine and cocktails. Friendly and welcoming bar staff to boot. Event space has excellent sound, and a great place to see a show. A Bayview classic!
