I had the worst soulfood I ever had from a soulfood restaurant. I had ordered the half and half barbecue with ribs and tips the tips wasn't tender at all I couldn't even take the meat off with a fork and the 2 ribs I received was 2 bones with no meat. The greens were sweet and I couldn't eat them and the baked Mac and cheese was so horrible it wasn't cooked all the way the cheese was not melted on the inside and the top. I will never eat from this place again .
Food was absolutely on point!!! Waiter was a tad rude but I was blown away by their food so I forgive him. I mean EVERYTHING I had was great. I had ox tails, pinto beans and white rice, yams, and mac n cheese! Now that was some food for my soul!
Recommended hands down the best soul food in Milwaukee. Long line when open for a reason.
Although its hard to get them on the phone from time to time. And the customer service could be better because a lot of black businesses get shunned upon because of the attitudes that come along with it. But this is mt go to place for smothered pork chops
The food was so nasty I was Mad I paid 40.00 for 2 nasty plates.... the macaroni was hard like it been sitting under light...the meat was hard....the spaghetti had no meat it was pasta not spaghetti...the candy yams had pepper on them.... it was a horrible experience and it was my 1st time eating here!!.. I will never again!!! 3.00 for 2 can sodas as well ugh horrible!!

The food was horrible the mashed potatoes was salty and out the box the sweet potatoes was to sweet the cabbage was not seasoned no meat macncheese was dry and bland the Carmel cake was dry like it was made day's before
