The food is low grade. I could cook it better in my kitchen myself. High price for what you get. Poor service. Should not have a drive thru. They need to do better. Forget sauces that are requested and that is unacceptable when you are paying these prices. I would not recommend spending your money there.
Thanks so much for taking such good care of us. Our kids took us for our 40th anniversary celebration. On 4/3/82 the place was Schubert's Spaghetti House. Tonight, we had a marvelous time. Food and service were great! Thanks!!!!!!
First time here and we loved it! Huge awesome salads which I appreciate in a more bar type setting. Good prices! The atmosphere could use a little updating as far as design. But who cares it was great. Good service
Not bad. But not the greatest either. Went for a fish fry and fish was extremely greasy and the batter/breading was falling off. Fry's also tasted fishy. Wife a burger she said it was just ok nothing special. May it may not come back. Too bad since we live so close.
Never again! I virtually never leave reviews but feel this is important for people to know. The first 2 orders were great. This last order was cancelled ( <- bad enough to never order from them again) plus we were not contacted by the restaurant to inform us the order was cancelled. There has still been no explanation as to why. The card company confirmed there wasn't even an attempt to charge (the card was not declined). If you want to keep good customers, make good on all orders regardless of how or when they're placed and accepted. You also will need to clearly and proactively communicate with your customers. At prices these days, anything less is completely unacceptable. The food is good but clearly unreliable. My money will be spent elsewhere.
With this review I officially give up Milwaukee’s best kept secret. Delicious food. The shrimp, the sample platter and wings made me happy dance in my seat. The music playing was entertaining!! Enjoyed my time.
My friends and I used to give this establishment our $$$, but not anymore. The last time we visited...and I do mean...the LAST time...the usual bar flies, who seem to think they own the place, applauded when we left. We sit together at a table, have a lot of big laughs, order food and drink, and tip the servers well, even though there were plenty of times when the service was slow. The owner should make ALL guests feel welcome, not just the bar flies who nurse a beer or two for hours. Oh well, we are happy to give our $$$ to our new spot, where we are treated nicely.
Very welcoming place with fast friendly service. We stopped in for some beers and appetizers. I ordered the wings which were pretty good and my friend order the Rueben tots. He loved them. They had really corned beef roast instead of the cheap lunch meat. There was also a bonus blues band that plays on Tuesday nights. Get there early because it really got packed in there. Tuesday 2 dollar tacos and had a happy hour till 6. We weren’t sure what the prices were on the receipt but they seemed cheap.
We believe we tried all the fish last Friday. My platter had Perch, Bluegill and fried Cod. My wife had bake Cajun cod. We also had a bowl of Clam chowder, excellent! Tartar sauce just ok.
