I been coming to this since it open, I was told that food is halal meaning kosher for Muslims, but my wife called to place an order for sandwiches today, and she asked if the meat was halal, the middle Eastern gentleman said there is nothing halal in this restaurant. So we been lied to all this few years about the food. I have sent lots Muslim customer's to big shark. But now I will have tell them this place is not for us.
The food was good and the people were really great. It was clean and much bigger than the average shops of its competition. Very great for the neighborhood. They offer a discount for civil service employees including city bus drivers. My friend and I ordered "the gym shoe" and it was pretty decent. We also ordered 2 pc cat fish with fried okra to see what it's about and it as well was pretty good. I definitely go back!
Best fried chicken wings. Must try. They deliver as well
The staff is friendly and the food is hot & delicious...I tried the fried pickles and they were the perfect thing for my hangover thanks for the suggestion see you next trip...
Chicken wings here are malnourished and extremely small. Must be the lowest quality. I ordered a large combo family meal. When I asked for catfish steaks as the fish, I was told that he could only give me 6 in steaks and the rest in perch. I thought that was strange but agreed because I’m not too picky. So the fish was decent and the chicken was terrible, literally no meat. The Italian beef sandwich’s meat was not a good flavor and the bread was greasy.Oh yeah, did I mention my order came to $85! 12 pcs fish / 24 wings combo family meal ($50), an Italian beef combo ($10), side of fried okra ($6) and a side of coleslaw ($2) which they forgot at the store. There was a delivery charge too ($6). Should have come to $74 plus tax per their menu online. Maybe they think tax is $10?!?!?!? I’m pretty sure they rounded prices up or simply charged a different piece then what’s online.Well, I could have better spent this money elsewhere. Won’t be back.
First time trying Big Sharks tonight, ordered through Door Dash. Food came really quick! I had the Tilapia dinner it was ???.. my daughter had chicken nuggets they were really good they even sprinkled lemon pepper on them and my son had the double cheeseburger. I really like their fries too! Everything was hot and fresh.??
I’m so disappointed! My wings are horrible my jalapeño poppers are disgusting. Usually the chicken is a perfect golden brown. It looks like the grease hasn’t been changed in a couple days! The chicken looks dried out . The fries are so under cooked.
Great service, better food. The worst part is having to come to a decision on what to order, because that means you can't get everything on the menu
Do you like food poisoning? If not Big Shark is not the place for you. Called at 6pm this Sunday and was told it would be an hr; when I called at 7:15 checking on the status they said it left two minutes ago. I called at 7:45 again asking about my food and when I informed Mo, the worker, it had been a half hour after it had left the store and my wife's shirmp would be cold he said he didn't care. In fact I asked him if he would eat seafood that had sat a half an hour he said it's no problem because he doesn't eat seafood anyways. My food finally showed up at 7:53 completely ice cold and inedible. I called again and asked for a refund and Mo refused. However, if you do enjoy food poisoning this is the place for you! If you love seafood that's sat out about 40 minutes and arrives ice cold it's yummy in your tummy.
Great customer service great and fresh food nice and hot and did I say it was fresh it's fresh as hell ‼️‼️
