Worst experience ever. Tried to order online and was unable to order due to error messages. Called for takeout, had to wait 10 minutes for my order to be taken. I was told 20 minutes for the order to be ready, showed up after 35 minutes and still had to wait inside the store for 15 minutes even though my order was ready and sitting on the back table. People walked in after me and were helped before me, just overall awful customer service. I ordered two dinners, the beef brisket and bbq chicken. The brisket was tough and inedible, the waffle fries were so greasy, undercooked and soggy. The bbq chicken was the only part of the meal we could actually eat. For $20/plate, I expect much better quality than this. I had a similar experience at Big Daddy’s previously but wanted to give it another shot. It’s safe to say I will never spend my money here again after numerous sub par experiences.
You only get one chance to impress me when I am spending my hard-earned money! There were grills in the yard, but I did not smell any bar-b-que. This should have been a clear indication to spend my money elsewhere. The rib tips were soft, mushy and tasteless. I could tell they had been cooked in the oven. They did not have any jerk dishes nor most of the side dishes they advertised. Service was extremely slow even though no one was ahead of us. The 2 people behind the counter disappeared into the kitchen once we placed our order, but we could hear them yucking it up with a man in the kitchen. This was our first...and last time to patronize this restaurant! You only get one chance with us?? Do better!
Ordered via doordash…surprisingly the food that I got was hot, but didn’t get half of my order. Tried calling the restaurant, straight to voicemail. Paid a whole lot for nothing
Had jerk rib tips and pulled pork, coleslaw and fries. Also ordered fried green tomatoes. Everything was delicious. Thanks for cooking our dinner tonight ❤️
Huge portions, absolutely delicious! I had the pulled pork, BBQ chicken, baked beans & coleslaw. Everything was phenomenal! And I’ve got enough for 2 dinners! Where have you been all my life?!?!?
Place was great, service was great. Food was even better. The Owner Rita was so nice and so sweet. 10/10 place recommend.
Worst customer service and had to wait over 30 minutes for my food the restaurant had 1 family dining in so they weren’t busy at all I noticed everyone coming in after me getting there order so when I finally said something all of sudden they forgot my orderUpdate : so disappointed I’m literally eating yams in a can the Mac and cheese is hard and cold and for this rob tip plate to be 17 I feel robbed
Nice little out of the way place which has great food friendly service and good prices. Came here for job came back to eat later and I was very impressed with the food. I'm all about pulled pork bbq and smoked meats. Oh my god the stuff was melt in your mouth good. Very impressed with this place. Friendly owner and clean kitchen. Not much room but they get food out fast and hot. I will be back to eat here again not many good bbq places in this city and I have found my new favorite place to get good smoked meat.
Ordered yesterday.... So delicious... Ordered again today and it tasted like they used Sweet Baby Ray's... Not happy. Come to find out it came from the Franklin location. Won't try that again.
I work for Instacart and received an order to go to the restaurant depot to pick up 2 big boxes of foam containers,two 40lbs boxes of leg quarters,2 cans of baked beans and 3 cans of yams! I delivered the items to the restaurant only for them to not tip me at all for carrying these heavy a$$ items by myself and then they reported to Instacart that they didn’t receive the 2 foam container boxes so they can be either refunded or have 2 more boxes delivered. Even though they received their order they are reporting items missing to get double the product for half the cost! I’m livid! I asked the guy can I use the cart to get the stuff out my trunk because it’ll be easier to push then carry over 100lbs of items and he wouldn’t let me use the wheeled cart. It’s sad that a restaurant would commit fraud like this but what’s even more appalling is that they use beans and yams out the can!
