Ordered May 19 2022 For sure a bug of some sort I wonder how many I’ve eaten in the past. I’m absolutely disgusted and it is making me want to hurl my guts out. The actual chicken in the sesame chicken entree was actually the worst I’ve had. I’ve always enjoyed their sesame chicken before but this didn’t even remind me of chicken. The breading was soggy AND overcooked somehow, and the meat was stringy and gummy which threw me off but I was hungry after a day of exams and paid over $15 for the meal. Maybe just a grain of hearty rice(it’s not)
The short rib rice bowl was really delicious. The pricing is out of whack for the portion though. For nearly $20 I rather expected more. The elements are all there... The short rib is so good. So are the pickled veg. The kewpie mayo and avocado lend a nice body to the bowl. The chorizo bao and the bao with the shrimp were both truly lovely.
Don’t trust their computer ordering system when it tells you that your order will be ready in 20 minutes. It always says that, even if it takes an hour when they’re really busy. Call instead.
While everything that I have eaten from there has been good, I particularly enjoyed their Shredded Pork w. YuXiang Sauce and their Steamed Dumplings.
Asian Fusion is a wonderful restaurant. We order from them regularly. In addition to their outstanding food, the service and ambiance (we use to dine inside before the pandemic) at Asian Fusion is great as well. A few of our favorite items are: Egg Drop Soup, Fried Dumplings, Okra, Broccoli w/Fresh Garlic, Singapore Noodles, Salt & Pepper Shrimp, and Sugar Chinese Donuts. We loved the Duck too, but that item is not on the menu anymore. Hopefully it will return. Frankly, I’ve never had a bad meal at Asian Fusion. Including, when dining-in one summer, we ordered from a Chef’s Special secret menu which you have to ask for, because these are items that are not on the menu. I fell in love with the Salt & Pepper Ham Hocks. The entire Chef’s Special meal was AMAZING! I highly recommend Asian Fusion.
Ordered and had my food within 25 minutes. The eggplant was amazing, great flavor with a kick of spice, exactly what I wanted. Mongolian beef and hunan chicken also got good reviews. Looking forward to ordering from here again soon!
Hidden Gem. Excellent food. Great service. The mongolian beef is very tasty and seems different than other restaurants but very good. We also had the shrimp chop suey, that was awesome as well. The chicken with garlic sauce is great as well. The menu is big and has something for everyone. I've been here a few times over the years, the food quality is always top notch. The restaurant is clean and the workers are very nice & professional. Price is about right for good Asian food. I would put this place as the top 2nd or 3rd Asian restaurant in the Milwaukee area. The restaurant seems a bit out of place over there however. Will definitely go back.
According to the cashier everything is soup and nothing is. Be careful to ask what you're getting. Appearently shrimp with lobster sauce is a chicken soup with 4 shrimp. At least that's what the cashier told me after I asked why it said it came with white rice and wasn't in the soup section and didn't indicate it was a soup. Will never be coming here again.
It’s not a Chinese restaurant as before. New menu taste very bad. If you want to try a Chinese food definitely not this one.
At first we were disappointed at the change of menu following COVID19. However, we were able to enjoy traditional meals again!!! It turns out their lunch bar has a revolving menu of our favorite traditional meals from the old menu! It’s offered 6 days a week and is extremely cheap for the amount of food (and unique traditional food!) that you get. An extra thought: even their ‘generic’ fast food Chinese options are so much more superior than other places.Unfortunately Asian Fusion lost both staff and a huge customer base (exchange students from China). This restaurant had to totally change the way they operate but I believe if there is enough demand then the traditional food bar, it can be added to dinner too.I have personal friends who own restaurants and say prices of all ingredients have almost doubled and sometimes tripled. The supply chains for these basic ingredients do not have enough man power to deliver at the price they used to. We weren’t told if that was a problem for Asian Fusion too but it could be a contributing factor. We’re always treated well when we are at Asian Fusion, regardless of the menu. Thank you for this!!!Now the restaurant is a more authentic and tasty version of Panda Express. Different audience, but still superior and worth our business.
