Posh noshes indeed! We had the Egg & Cheese with sausage and hash brown latke (not pictured), the half Tomago Egg Salad tartine, and the half Chopped Lox tartine. The Tomago Egg Salad tartine is really nice. If you aren't a fan the ocean-y smell of the furikake is strong, but it balances so nicely with the green onions and egg salad. The bias sliced green onions are beautiful, but I think they don't distribute enough green onion over the entirety of the tartine. Personally I would like more and perhaps smaller. The egg salad shifts, so be forewarned that this is not a dish that is easy to eat elegantly! The Chopped Lox tartine is awe inducingly good. I was concerned that the inclusion of kumquat would draw this in a sweeter direction, but I'm so happy to have discovered that the folks at Allie Boy's have resisted the urge. The kumquat is the perfect citrus-y note in the tartine, at once surprisingly delightful and so well composed it tastes as though it should have always been around.Truly praise-worthy and worth going out of your way for.
Better than New York bagels IMO! Had the breakfast sandwich and a sesame bagel with labneh. Really good!
Absolutely loved it! The flavors were so good and it traveled home well too!
New to MKE from NYC, and I was worried I wouldn’t find a go-to bagel spot, but oh boy was I wrong. Allie Boy’s was SO great! Loved the little area out back for outdoor dining (cute spot with four tables or so). It was pretty busy when we went on a Sunday at 10:45am, but it was well worth the wait (and even the wait was nothing crazy).I had the sausage, egg, and cheese bagel, and it was truly delicious! Highly recommend this spot for anyone who wants a really well-done bagel.*Bonus: they heat up well the next day!
I love going here on Sunday mornings for bagel sandwiches. Their menu rotates often and everything I have tried was delicious! Really hoping the Southpaw comes back soon! Their deep friend cinnamon bagel is also very good if you want something sweet, and make sure to try it with the horchata schmear. They're always busy but you never have to wait to long to get your order.
Ordered ahead and stopped in. Busy little place! The original with vegan cheese is out of this world! Such a great treat on a Saturday morning.
Favorite bagel place in Milwaukee, and believe me, I've been looking for awhile. I can't visit this place enough because the flavors of bagels and smears are constantly changing, each one seemingly more exciting than the last. My favorite standard bagel flavor is an 'everything bagel,' and they do not disappoint me for this classic either. Also picked up a bagel treat for our puppy who really seemed to enjoy it. Always looking for an excuse to go :)
The bagel sandwiches were very tasty. Fresh bagels, lots of menu choices for food and drinks and that 80's music on Saturday morning made the visit great!!
Best Bagels in Wisconsin! Service is excellent.I called ahead for a pick up order and they had it ready on time when I walked in the door. Adding other things on was not a problem and they were so organized. But the best part is these bagels taste like New York! Yum!
Great service and always tastes amazing! All the creative things they do here make me come back for more. Not only do their bagels taste great, but try everything else. Not a bad place for a quick coffee either.
