Very nice people. We were there with a large group very accommodating, food was good and great customer service.
We rented Heritage Hall for our reception and it was amazing. It was recommended to us by someone else that had a reception there and she said they were great to work with, which was important to me. Village Bowl took care of so many things, including decorations. All the employees worked so hard during the night and regularly checked in with me. Truly made the night wonderful and everyone had a good time. Also, the room set up had area areas for dancing, eating, the head table, and the bar was awesome (with some great bartenders)! Not to mention, the bathrooms were right next to the hall and very convenient.
Went tonight (Saturday) and it was the worse bowling experience we’ve had, ever. Took my wife and kid to play at 8:45, we spent the entire time with unsupervised young kids jumping in our lane, spilling food, adults and kids constantly walking in front of us bowling, taking over our lane, and generally acting like they have never bowled or been in public before. 10 minutes either way is Sussex or Richfield, this is one we will not be returning to.
Great fishfry, service ect.
Very nice bowling alley. Probably one of the nicest I've been too. I love these system, and the Lane set up. We bowled 2 games. Staff was very friendly to us. They also had a bar and restaurant in there, we did not get any food or drinks but a lot of people were.
I rated three star do to the fact when you drive 8 hours round trip for a bowling tournament to have the bowling center puts easy slide on the approaches just before practice begins and make it so slippery that you can't stop sliding and slmost fall. I think they should ask the bowlers on the lanes if they want that put down. Makes for a very disappointing day especially when it's the last adult/youth that some parents can bowl with there child. The food was great and service in bar was rated a 5 star.
There’s one kid who works there is just seriously bad for business. He is not friendly at all. He smiles, but he’s so rude. We go ask if there is any bowling available at 2:30 he says no you have to wait. Doesn’t give us a time or anything. Then call at 4:50 and now there’s no lanes until 9:30. He makes me not want to go there. He also expressed last September how he was so happy kids bowl for free is over because he hates that program. Why would anyone want to come there with someone with that attitude.
My group and I arrived at around 7 and wanted to bowl until close (12 am midnight )First, the counter person was quite impatient when we arrived and tried to figure out lanes, shoes and how many games we wanted to play. Keep in mind, there was no one else waiting behind us which meant we could take our time so we could pay for the right amount. In which the person got impatient and kept rushing for us to let him know. It caused us to pay for 2 extra people accidentally and we had to go back for the refund of 2 people.Second, it was probably only 10:45pm which meant we still had time to bowl, someone came to our table and took our beer pitcher which still had enough beer for 2 cups and stated “ you guys can return them too you know “ and walked away before I could say anything. ( At this point I was getting more impatient with them as it felt as if we were the only targeted group. A group of Asian people who they clearly had an issue with ).Third, the same guy came to our table at 11pm ( which meant there was still had one hour to bowl ) , took a tray of chicken wings we ordered that still had wings in there and gave us an attitude when I looked at him like “ excuse me ?? We aren’t done “ and he said with an attitude “ are you guys done ? Are you guys going to eat them “. In which I said “ yes we are !! “ At this point, I’m furious. They treated us like we weren’t giving them service when we spent hundred of dollars here for our big group to bowl, eat and drink.I did not appreciate the discrimination and the horrible service they gave.
Jr. Bowling is great kids have fun and really learn and get to play in tournaments
A very nice facility and a well run tournament.
