I like the food at Olive Garden especially when prepared properly. On Sunday May 15th, I had the occasion to be invited by some friends to visit this Menomonee Falls location. I’d only heard mixed things about it since it opened and now I’d finally get to check it out.We deliberately picked a late afternoon time hoping it would be less busy and the staff more attentive. And it turned out to be a good choice on both fronts. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. The entrees we chose were Lasagna, the Tour of Italy and the Seafood Alfredo which is one of my favorites. We opted for the salad to go with the dinner and we were not disappointed. It arrived quickly and loaded with toppings and had the right amount of their signature dressing. The bread sticks were pleasantly warm and we were off to a great start. The food arrived a bit too quickly as we hadn’t finished the salad but better than being late and/or cold.I was pleased with the Alfredo and my companions had similar opinions about their food.Refills on the drinks were regular and we never had to ask for anything as the waitress was mostly always available. There was nothing to complain about and though I’d never been there before I was able to find the location without any problems. After having been to their previous location on Brown Deer Road in Milwaukee many times and was just as regularly disappointed, I would consider going back here on a Friday or Saturday night to see if the experience would be any different.
For an Italian style restaurant they struggle to accommodate large families/parties. There we no fewer than three large parties in the section of the restaurant that we were in and all of them were squeezed in to spaces that made it challenging to relax while eating. They may want to consider doing a family section of the restaurant where they have only tables that can be joined together to accommodate families because a booth table combo doesn't work well for the servers or the diners. Now on to the food. The calamari was fantastic. Three fried mozzarella looked amazing and by the way it disappeared I'd say it was enjoyable. The Tour of Italy did not look as appetizing. It looked as though it was placed on a plate and then microwaved.
Although our waiter was very slow and not energetic the rest if the staff was nice and welcoming. We was waiting for about 10mins or so for her to come back with our drinks but a manager came instead in took our order and put a rush on our drinks. We've been to this location before so that's why we went back but they have different or new waiters that I guess was too tired.... We always tip but if she was just alil bit faster and lively she would've got a bigger tip over all because of the everyone else being nice and how clean the place be I give them a 3 star rating
The best Olive Garden we have ever been to. It's updated, it looks sleek inside. We had great service. If you are there Fridays and Sundays ask for Dwayne. We had a fantastic time. Thank you Dwayne!!!! ?
The food came out hot, the waitress was really nice. While I understand we went on a Saturday during a peak time the host were really overwhelmed with the crowd. I walked in to put my name on the waitlist. They told me that my name was on the list but I never received a text confirming that. I waited 15 minutes to see if one would come through and it never did. It was only after I went online to add my name that I finally received a text confirming my spot. Also the person taking reservations should not be the same one seating guest it was a bit chaotic.
Well, it's olive garden, not too much mystery here. Our server was friendly and the food was the exact same as its always been which is decent Italian with the yummy breadsticks and salad. This is a newer location so it was clean and updated. The prices however are kind of a mixed bag. The chicken Alfredo has jumped to 18 bucks as is the case with most main dishes. The kids menu conversely was very well proportioned and only 6 bucks so they kind of even out (not really). Realistically though at these inflated prices I would much rather find an authentic Italian restaurant with some ambiance. The draw of olive garden was always decent Italian food at decent prices and while the food is still good, the prices not so much.
We ordered soup that was Cold, my husband couldn't even eat his meal. He asked for NO CHEESE on top of his ravioli and it came out Loaded with cheese. My lunch was no better. Our waitress was Fantastic. Friendly and very Great.
Very unprofessional host 1.23.22, evening around 8. The restaurant was not busy. The host couldn’t be bothered to put her phone down to look up as we walked in. Tried to seat us at multiple dirty tables. Argued with a server about it in front of us. We felt totally uncomfortable while they tried to figure out where to seat us, for several minutes, long enough for me to give up, go to the restroom and come back to find my sister still awkwardly waiting behind them. Disgusting bathroom. The saving grace was our incredible server, I’m kicking myself for not getting her name. Petite white woman with brown hair late 20s/early 30s. Absolutely so sweet!
The waitress was rushing me to place my order, once I did I ask for a gnocchi soup and how many gnocchi do you think that my soup had? 0 yes and my husband's had 2 gnocchi in it, my daughter's pizza was burn, I order another soup looking to get some gnocchi in it and it came back only with 3!!! On the good side as usual breadsticks where great and the drinks too.
I visited the place yesterday. Great food! The staff were polite and timely for a busy Friday. Well worth the price, I'm definitely coming back again.
