My wife and I came for a quick breakfast and were beyond happy with the food and drinks. The service was quick and everyone was so nice. I had a breakfast sandwich and my wife had the strawberry waffle. They both were absolutely delicious. For drinks we had a fit frappe and a white mocha. They were wonderful. Definitely will be returning!
Coffee is very good and Tasty waffles and bacon. Unfortunately the syrup cup only gets you half way through one waffle ? also, messed up another family members order ….twice. Bummer hopefully next time will be better. The fire place was the best part on this very cold day.
The place is clearly a local favorite. I got there ~7 15 and by the time I left at 8 it was almost full, on a Wednesday! Belgian waffle with bacon inside was delicious, and the staff was friendly. Great way to start a day.

Near impossible to dine in when most of the tables are occupied by social clubs or folks working at a laptop with no food to keep them there. Those who order food are left awkwardly waiting for literally anyone to leave without much luck. My waffle was also unfortunately overcooked and crumbly. I also received a pitiful amount of whipped cream which I paid extra for. Cannot recommend.
This was our second experience hiring Yola's for our company's catering needs and it certainly won't be the last. Fantastic customer service, generous menu options (including Vegetarian and Gluten-free) at reasonable prices and their Liège waffles are out of this world!
Can the kitchen staff put a cork in it? The kitchen is open to the cafe area. The young staff was having a loud and boisterous time while I was there. Hard to carry on a conversation or just quietly think from all the shrieking coming from the kitchen. Maybe the fact that their conversation focused on the foibles of the elderly was particularly galling since the cafe was filled with retirees This is a fine cafe but this is the second time I have encountered this here. Both times, I noticed, the owners were not present.
Great food (healthy and creative), friendly staff, comfortable place to eat. Got to try the baked oatmeal. If u r hiking in the area, this will keep u full til lunch?
This is my favorite cafe in Madison, the coffee is great and their waffles are amazing, staff are always friendly and accommodating. Overall very nice local cafe to hangout, highly recommended.
Awesome cafe to duck into and get some work done away from the office. Food is amazing. It gets busy during lunch.
