So we went in and had poor customer service asked for a table because we needed 2 high chairs. Took us to a both so then i asked again about a table he never even sat us down pulled out two high chairs to a booth and then said what do you want to drink and asked again about a tablea d he basically told us he dont care. He had an attitude and still kept asking about drinks. We were not even situated to even be asked that. So we had to walk out and try and talk and when i said something to the lady at counter she was on phone and still had to repeat multiple times what we asked and she said he don't really know English. We will not be returning here because this is not the first time lately with poor customer service last time the waiter never even checked in on us to see if we needed refills on out drinks business is going down hill we use to love coming here
we go every time we are in town. love the dinner selection crawfish are my sons favorite. the chicken wings are really good especially with some sweet an sour. the mongolian grill is very good and there is lots of food to choose from. best buffet in Madison forsure
We have gone to Broadway World Buffet over the years, until now. There has been a constant decline in the quality of the food being served, the service and the lack attention to detail of the restaurant itself. The restrooms are unclean, broken or worn-out fixtures, broken window shades and unclean plates at the buffet. What happened on our visit last week (May 13, 2022) was the last straw. We took my brother-in-law there and were shocked when, after he waited for some time for them to removed his used plate, he placed it on it on another table, only to be reprimanded like they were scolding a small child. He explained that he had waited for the server to remove the plate which they never did so he removed it, again he was told he was not allowed to do that. What? He demanded an apology which was not forth coming. If the restaurant were full of customers at that noon day, maybe it would have been a reason for the plate to not have been picked up but the place was virtually empty at noon on Friday. Their business is failing and they are letting every thing go, as mentioned above. There are too many great buffets in Madison for you to have a lousy experience at World Buffet. Save your money, go elsewhere.
Typical Chinese restaurant. It was good. They have a grill where you get to choose what you want cooked from the raw fresh ingredients.
If u want really nice food, this isn’t the place. If you want mass quantities of Chinese take out… this is ur place. General Tsao, sweet and sour chicken, egg rolls, teriyaki chicken and all the standard Chinese take out fair is here. Some sushi( none raw), and lots of deserts. Overall… it’s a good choice for a buffet if that’s what you’re looking for. Service is great, the food is buffet.
Fantastic food, fair price. Hard to say more then that, the staff was friendly and seemed to enjoy what they were doing. The restaurant was well kept on the inside and the food always kept very fresh! Don't be fooled by the plain exterior, this place is a gem 100%
This was a tasty surprise discovery. Had no idea it was even there. Great food selection on the buffet. I'd say it has more selection than the other places around. Everything was fresh, and the restaurant seemed cleaner than the others as well. We'll be going back again soon.
The price was great, 25 for 2 people for lunch. Staff was friendly, and they even said hello and gave a fortune cookie to my special needs son. Food was fresh, great selection including a grill and make your own soup.
The food was pretty good but honestly nothing special when you compare it to any other Asian/American buffet. Not a whole lot of options and they charge around $16 (about $6 too much) a person. That is a little much for what they offer. Again nothing bad just not great either.
Came here noon (ish) for lunch and everything was really good. Food temp, taste and freshness (of course cause they haven't been open that long). Friend said the hibachi was on point as well. Staff friendliness and courtesy as far as drink refills go. When I'm in town again, I will stop by again.
