I have mixed reviews, last Friday we had a large group here that spent around $2000.00 between food and drinks, the staff and (Krissie) our main bartender and the food was awesome. Then Saturday night we looked up the hours online and it said open until 2:30 so after a wedding reception 45-50 (at least) of us arrived at 12:40 to a cold reception. When we arrived we were told it was going to be last call for our drinks and at 1:00 AM they turned up the lights and said that they were closing. It did look like 1/2 of the bar bottles were closed off for the night but the other 1/2 on the left were clearly available one person ordered a margarita at 12:40 and she was told that they could not make her one anymore today. We probably would have only stayed until around 1:30 but we would have spent quite a bit of money during that time. Krissie, the daytime staff and the day manager were awesome Friday and I had no complaints about the food! Maybe they should change the hours posted online, unless I missed something that said they would closed based on business decisions.
I went here this weekend with a couple of friends. One had the pulled pork mac and cheese. It was the most correct thing at the table. I had a speciality mac with steak they had on the menu and the other friend had a burger. The problem I had was both came out at the wrong temperature. Steak was ordered medium and came out well; burger was ordered medium well and came out well. Both were an acceptable well (and not charred to a crisp) but still missed by a mile.Beyond that, the flavor of the three meals was... fine but nothing that I would say was super stand-out that makes me want to come back again but it's a fine meal if you are looking for a bite. Just nothing spectacular.
Great place for brunch or lunch and to get a beer. Everything was good, the service, beers and food. No one could finish their meal very large portions. Only thing that was not a hit was the bloody but I think pir bartender just made it with the wrong ratios. Outdoor seating in summer and lots of beer varieties to choose from.
Update 2022-05-02 - Adding an extra star to my review for excellent customer service. I needed to buy a gift card for a birthday present for a friend, so I thought 7pm on a Monday would be a nice calm time to take care of it. Instead it turned out that a concert at the Sylvee next door was about to start, so the place was packed. They still had me in and out in under 10 minutes. Well Done!
The blackened salmon salad was delicious! 38 beers on tap including 34 of their own. Only tried 10 (I have limits) but all were very good!
Horrible experience all around. Will not be going back. Will be contacting the owners tomorrow.
First time here. Sat at the bar. Bartenders are friendly. Service is quick. Food was enjoyable. No complaints. Would go again. A+
Upscale brewery and restaurant.Excellent variety on tap. I tried a flight and two ales stood out...the Randall Cobb-ler and a Belgian titled Trepidation...both were tasty. Also enjoyed the crazy a$$ peanut butter and jelly bacon burger. It worked! Thanks!
Went on Saturday night. Checked off all the points. Seated quickly and allowed us to switch seats at our request with no issues. Halley, our server, was extremely attentive and pleasant, served very quickly and food was very good.
love the food and the service
