It was decent. Food was okay but a little overpriced for what it was. Ordered penne vodka with chicken and maybe got five or six tiny pieces of chicken. Didn't give a very authentic Italian feel. Service was fast but we took our time which seemed to annoy our server a little bit, as she seemed to be in a hurry when we were the only guests in the restaurant at 6:30. Asked for garlic bread with our meals and got cheese bread. Wine was good. Probably a one time and done.

A few years ago I found a long hair in my Alfredo take out order. When I reported it, the manager offered me a free entree. I so wanted to be satisfied with this restaurant, I went back a week later and ordered the same thing. Low and behold the make up entree had a similar hair in it. I won't even get started on the service... Or lack there of.I have not and will not return or recommend this place to anyone.

My most favorite place to eat in Madison! The manager always comes and greets me, very friendly as well as the staff. As busy as the manager seemed he still remembered me only my second time there, and was very friendly to all the customers. The food was amazing I got the lasagna, and the bread before is delicious. I was given a slice of cake on birthday which was also amazing, they even put a candle on it! I seriously love this place so much. As close as the sitting area was to each another table, I’ve gone there with friends and family and it did not once bother me or the people next to us how close we were, don’t come here if you’re gonna be loud and obnoxious though. Great place to eat, have a chill afternoon/evening, I saw a student working as well as a man doing business there. Would recommend this place to anyone!

One positive thing: the sampler appetizer was good.Food was ok, lukewarm by the time I got and pasta was tough. Husband got sick from something. He got something else even though he ordered chicken??? The service was slow, I've had better experiences before. Not what I expected. Disappointed because I thought it would be a good date. The tip was built in to the total...definitely would not have given a "full" 20% if I had the choice, the meal with that tip included was waaaaay overpriced for the quality. Latte was lackluster. Saw a staff member eating standing in the back while we were leaving.

I never write reviews onto restaurants but I just thought this was an interesting experience. My sister ordered a Caesar Salad and as she is chewing she pulls out a penny. She had a penny in her salad! We thought it was hilarious because it was very odd. However when we told our waiter she just took $3 off I was just shocked not the entire salad. I’ve worked at other restaurants and the rule is if there is anything that is not supposed to be in the dish then they get a full discount of the item. Other than that cute little restaurant.

Extremely disappointed. I haven’t been here in years but recalled it as a nice place. We took our foreign exchange student out for a birthday meal. Memory either failed me or it has really changed.Only one other table being served with two waitstaff present. Our entrees came and the waiter added “your appetizer will be right out”, then a few minutes later the employee returned with the appetizer and again a few minutes later returned with my wife’s salad. I said things are a little out of order tonight and the response was “yeah things are a little turned around today” no apologies or offers to try to offset the poor performance. The food was not good. My wife had scallops, and I had cacciatore; both were very bland. My daughter had the penne and it was not worth the money.Unless my memory fails and I somehow forget just how bad it was, I will not be back.

The good is pretty good. Service was quicker than I expected. A little pricey, but not too bad. Loud, but it’s a college town. I’d definitely recommend it.

The last two times I’ve eaten there have been disappointing. No bread, took along time to get drinks, food was not hot, and this last time the lights didn’t work so we were in the dark. Our waitress was very kind but nothing was done about it. I had to use my phone flashlight to see the bill! Such a bummer.

The chicken parmigiana here was very good. I also liked the penne ala vodka which was a great compliment. The atmosphere was okay, the restaurant was pretty spread out over different areas and floors. The Italian style cheese curds were very good! This was not my favorite Italian place in the area but it was very good. Service was quality and prompt. Seemed like a good place for a group.

The food was good, nothing spectacular or special, though tasty. . The servers were very friendly.Under cooking cheese curds in Wisconsin is almost a sin.
