Ask For Charlie he was the best! He sat down with my dog and gave him treats.❤️ Great Food and a wonderful dining experience. I had a Walleye Sandwich and my husband had the perch, bot awesome!!

Tipsy Cow is perfect for a get together with friends and family, or for a date night!I love all their appetizers. The tots and fries are delicious. I went with a group of four recently and everyone enjoyed their food.Our server was training someone while still being efficient and friendly.
We were there in the middle of the day, which was beneficial because it wasn't busy. The cheese curds were absolutely crispy and melty all at the same time. The appetizer fish tacos were good as well, but I sort of wish I had only ordered cheese curds so I could have eaten the whole order! Josh was super friendly and attentive. We appreciated the tip from a local to eat here.
First of all, I know places are struggling to find help- but this place is STRUGGLING in terms of service. Very bad. Next- burger is average. Nothing special. Atmosphere is decent. So many more places in Madison to go though. I think most people choose it due to convenience.
Partner and I split three apps and enjoyed the tap selections. Will be back every time we're in Madison.
While in Madison a business colleague told me that the best burgers in Madison were at The Tipsy Cow, just down from the Capital. Well that kind of recommendation meant I just had to try it and I was not disappointed. They have several burgers but I went with the one named after the establishment, the Tipsy Burger, and it was amazing. I was in a bit of a hurry so had to order at the bar for takeout, but they have plenty of seating both indoor and outdoor too. I highly recommend.

Stopped in with the family for a quick lunch after touring the Capital. Easy access from the Capital Square. Sandwiches and appetizers were good all around. Prompt and friendly service.
Researched a local place for dinner and a beer while in town for a conference, this place came up as a recent Best Burger in Madison winner, so I wanted to give it a try. Awesome! Felt small town local with great burgers & beer. Smaller bar/restaurant with 2 large TVs but awesome food! I had the Tipsy Burger (5?). I noticed each table around me ordered the cheese curds so they must be good as the reviews say. Totally would go back and make sure to bring my hubby. Great if you are looking for low key local place for a quick AMAZING sandwich/burger and beer. P.S. those pickles were fricken amazing too. About 6-7 minute walk from Madison Concourse hotel by Capital
