Best burger In town hands down! My boss and I normally get a Swiss burger plain. Eating a burger with just cheese means you actually taste the quality of the meat and the bun and the cheese and they are all fantastic! I would definitely recommend a burger if your in the area.
Good food, good staff, great experience. Had a BBQ pork sandwich which was the special today. Everything I've tried has been tasty.
Good beer selection, nice staff. I got the steak sandwich. The steak was very tender and flavorful but it was literally just a steak on a kaiser roll... No veggies, no sauce, etc. It was good but would've been better with some lettuce/tomato/horse radish sauce or mayo.
Excellent tavern. The fish fry is absolutely fantastic, best walleye I've had. Excellent brandy old-fashioned too
Great family run tavern, grab a drink go next door for ice cream or walk down by the lake. They have good burgers and a nice fish fry on Friday
The fish fry was so so, the waitress I guess did not know we was there, I asked for ice-water with a lemon. Got the water, no lemon, and tough to get a refill It's like she didn't exist.When the fish came the waitress never came back, she was to busy talking to the cook in the back, instead of customers. I will never go back here, or will I recommend this place to anyone. Bad service.The best fish fry I have had to date is at Monkeyshines Bar and Grill. I don't drink, and they have plenty of ice water served with a lemon. And the staff is great. Tony the cook will light up your day, on the darkest hour.
Amazing Walleye and a ton of food for the price. Great old fashioned! We will be back!

Located near where we stayed in Madison WI., we opted for lunch here. My burger was delightful, and my wife enjoyed her meal. 4 stars, because a smile from the server would have gotten the Laurel an easy 5 stars. All other staff were very friendly.
