Bar is usually clean, the dancefloor is always full of water and the music is sub par. The only saving grace is the rooftop bar. Its u ique and usually better music then the lower portion. The only time i will go here is if the outdpor section is open.
Manager was a rude and they did not communicate well with customers. Mens bathroom hasn't been cleaned in a long time.
The UU nights will fade in memory, so enjoy them while you can!

My experience at The Double U was the worst anyone could imagine at a bar. Poor customer service, unsanitary conditions, and an unorganized menu layout. The amount of disrespect the bouncers give to PAYING customers is unbelievable. Also every table we went to was sticky and full empty drinks. Most disappointing bar in Madison.
Cool atmosphere but the bartenders are lack luster. They also pour and charge you for doubles unless you explicitly ask for a single every time, regardless of height/weight/gender/finacial situation. Pretty dangerous, and disrespectful. Much better options in Madison.
FIRST. They won’t let you charge your phone behind the bar - ugh.SECOND: they did not play the DONDA live stream on the TV’s which is LITERALLY the most wanted event in town , smh. Also their tv’s are really old and don’t have airplay.DO BETTER UU.
