Lots of college students come here for their sushi deal. I used to come here when I was an undergrad because it was the only affordable sushi. I haven’t been on campus for awhile and decide to a take out. Sushi is really bland. They didn’t really put vinegar on rice like you’re supposed to. Typically without soy sauce and wasabi, I can still taste the fish’s sweetness but I really can’t taste anything. I got their Boston roll that came with diluted mayo sauce. I also got eel avocado rolls, this is my favorite sushi in general & I felt like I ate mostly avocado and eel sauce. Just a slightly thin piece of eel. And I also got shrimp tempera, spicy salmon, and tuna avocado. This is not my favorite sushi place but it’s definitely an affordable one if you’re looking for a deal. I’m still giving 4 star because of the deal and quickness but You get what you pay for.

Vey bad attitude. I had to find a table by ourselves bc no one came up to us when we walked in. I sit there waiting for like 5 mins and they asked us what to order but they didn’t even realize we were not given menus:(((((
I order from Sushi Express almost weekly. The prices are incredible for how much sushi you get, plus I’ve never had a bad experience with the actual food. The people are sweet and really fast, plus delivery (at least local, around downtown) is always fast. Love love LOVE this place!
Great! Pretty much everything is as we hoped. Just ordered some gyoza and a few things of sushi and got it 20 mins earlier than expected. Prices were fair, delivery was accurate and painless. 5 stars if sushi was ever so slightly larger.
yummy and 3 rolls for $13 is such a deal! if you’re an avid sushi lover like me, this place will satisfy your sushi cravings I got the eel avocado and shrimp tempura rolls :)
I have tried most of all the appetizers and have sampled the alaska roll. Hands down, this is the best sushi place in madison when it comes to quantity and quality.Not only are the portions larger, just about everything costs less than surrounding restaurants that have similar food. Thats a rare win-win scenario.You cant go wrong here.
