First time having it. Good smash burger. The staff was super cool and it wasn't a long wait at all. They got beer in a cooler if you want. That's a plus. And it was pretty clean also.

But please triple check your order upon receiving!! The last two times I've ordered the 'Shack Stack' (one mushroom patty and one beef) I received the 'Shack Burger' (beef only) instead.. I think the solution would be to rename the Shack Stack. It's not exactly fair to make your employees decipher the incoming orders because of your brand's convoluted naming conventions..
Everything is delicious. One of the best fast food burgers around. The restaurant can get a little busy around peak times though, so keep that in mind.
Pretty good, simple menu. It was quick out. Eight and a bit for a double burger, on a small bun. Culver's has the same thing for $2 cheaper, and bigger. The shack sauce is just 3/1 hellman's mayo/thousand island, nothing special.
Ordered ahead of time but they got my burger wrong. They were not at all busy but it still took 25 minutes to fix their error. Burgers are small, sauce is good. Overall would not recommend.
Half an hour to make a single burger during an off-peak time? Yikes, folks.I asked at the counter and they weren't sure what happened. They initiated a new burger for me and promised it would be ready in 5. 7 minutes later I left with my burger. It was decent, though not $11 decent.First time ever at the famed Shake Shack. Don't think I will come back. How can a chain survive with service like this?And for the brand representative who comes by and replies to these reviews, please don't say this doesn't represent your usual standard of service. Having read a number of other reviews, It sounds like it very much does.
All employees stared at me for about 10 minutes and hid in the back before asking me if I needed help even though they all acknowledged my presence there. Stood there for nothing.

Tried Shake Shack at Hilldale for the first time, had a strawberry shake. Shake was good, but the straw was a paper straw. Because of the viscosity of the shake, the straw collapsed and got soft and unusable. It made the shake unenjoybale.
My friends liked here. That’s the whole point. The manager is doing his job great. Five stars especially for him.
