Exquisite craft pizza! Crust was light, luscious, and bronzed/browned to a perfect crisp. Generous toppings took it home. Not Brooklyn, not Chicago or Detroit…not sure if it fits a “standard” category. It cured my pizza fix for a couple days! Good selection of brews. Service was pleasant as well.
My wife and I stayed at a local Inn near the Livingston St location. I'm vegan, so it's always a challenge to eat out. We tried their Vegan Sausage Supreme pizza. Wow! This is the best vegan pizza I've ever eaten. My wife tried the chocolate beet cake as well. She loved it. We have a new go-to restaurant when visiting Madison
Food was great, but most of the food option from the vegetarian we wanted to order were out probably because we were 1.5 hours before the closing time ? ??♂️
We went there to celebrate my daughter’s college graduation. The service was mediocre at best. Our server was nice, just not attentive at all. Never refilled drinks and one of the pizzas didn’t come out until the rest of us had FINISHED about meals. The food was excellent which is why I gave them 3 stars. However we ate outside and there was a homeless person perched about 10 feet from our table smoking cigarettes for our entire meal. Make sure you don’t choose the front corner table outside if you do choose to eat there. Very unpleasant.
Why wait two hours for brunch when you can have amazing pizza?? That's how we ended up here at noon on a Sunday. Immediate seating, great service, and incredible food! The "holy ghost" pizza was one of the best we've had... perhaps ever. It wasn't actually very spicy, but it had a lovely flavor. We ordered the moosse for dessert, which was also delightful
Tuesday night special is money, 16 inch 1 topping for 12. Suck it Papa Murphy's!
Some of the best pizza in Madison. The pizza was light and not too greasy. They seemed to have hit the perfect balance between crust, sauce and cheese. The ambiance was classy, perfect for a nice date night. This might just become my go to place for pizza.
The Mardi Gras fare was absolutely delicious including the mousse! The picture is the trout over something delicious I don't remember what it was named (risotto-like). I texted my sister and others it was so good.
I've been meaning to leave a review for this restaurant for awhile now, but last night we had such an exceptional experience that I have to give this place 5 stars. First of all, the food is delicious, the pizzas are creative and there's something for everyone (including vegans like myself). But personally I could just eat their appetizers for dinner. The Szechuan "meatballs" and cauliflower are full of flavor and texture, like something that you would get at a high end (expensive) gastropub. I went there with some friends on a Saturday night before a concert at the Sylvee and they were out of Angels Envy and another drink that I wanted. So the manager went out of his way on a super busy night to ask the bartender to make me a special drink and it was so freaking good. Knowing how much the food service industry is struggling with staffing and supply chain issues, I was really impressed with how committed he was to making sure we had a stellar experience. It is our go-to place when ordering takeout and also one of our favorites in the city.
BEST PIZZA IN MADISON!!! If you pick up, never disappoints. But if you are ordering for delivery, it can be a hit or miss for quality. Sometimes it won't arrive, sometimes it will arrive right away fresh! Their website has a high minimum delivery, but if you order from Eatstreet, there is no minimum order price for delivery. Overall, if you can, pick it up. Don't get it delivered.
