Food was delicious. We ordered rice noodle with roast duck, egg noodle with beef meatballs and vegetable spring rolls as appetizer and mango milkshakes at the end. The broth, noodles and the meat tasted good! They have different serving size but we ordered regular. Portion size is good. The food is fresh and light on the stomach. The service is quick. We would definitely visit again!
When entering this restaurant, no one greets you with a smile. It is an unfriendly atmosphere, trickling down from the hostile owner, who since COVID has started cutting corners on food ingredients and their quality. Repeatedly in recent times, she has scrimped on the herbs that are supposed to be an important part of a pho soup or a bun salad. I could find none and was told, "they are there; they are minced tiny." I could barely detect ANY. The next time I said I would pay for extra herbs but still got none. When I called to mention this, I was accused of being "abusive." This is a restaurant where it is unacceptable to complain and where cutting corners is now how they operate. There are other Vietnamese restaurants in Madison, WI, that are better. Why go to Saigon and be subject to poor quality and name calling?
Used to be our favorite restaurant but not any more. We never get a refill of water throughout the dining. Pig knucles are cut half compared with before. Noodles are boiled too much that they are broken into pieces.
They have great shrimp spring rolls and pho here. They put some pieces of steak in the spring rolls which tasted great along with the peanut sauce. I got the pho steak and meatballs #14. The meat was seasoned very well and it all around was a good experience.
Delicious, fast, super friendly. I got the meatball pho- *heavenly*The rice role, chicken skewers, egg rolls, papaya salad, all DELICIOUSI always over-order because I can't decide so I just get everything that looks good!! And then it is very good!!And the staff are incredibly fast and friendly, I cannot emphasize that enough!!
Came here after reading positive reviews, place is huge, a lot of seating capacity. It was pretty packed when we went. Ordered the pho special. Pho was flavorful just a bit on the salty side and noodles were a little overcooked. Would get a perfect rating if those two things were fixed.
Prices are very fair and service is great and quick. I found my stir fried beef noodle slightly bland. Tried beef noodle soup and it was very good. Fried egg rolls delicious.
It's so perfect and delicious noodle soup especially in cold winter weather like this. Staying in Watertown for a two months contract work, been dying so some "Pho". We drove all the way to Madison just for this, it's worth every minute of it. Glad I made it.
The steak pho was so good and the broth was literally perfection. First time trying pho and I’m so glad I came to Saigon!
Too sweet for everything. The food quality is good, however they are not authentic enough compared with pho I tasted in Hanoi.
