Dumplings Russian Asian Fusion

I found this gem on TikTok and I have to say, it wasn’t half bad. It’s a small place downtown Madison with friendly and quick staff. The dumplings were really good and I like how you can get a mix of potato and beef. You can also choose your own toppings for more flavor. I will say, they didn’t have as much flavor as I was hoping for. They have a huge dining room to enjoy in house as well. The portions are HUGE and really reasonably priced!

The dumplings were delicious and were still warm after a 15 min bus ride.Would go again 10/10.The menu is very small with only "Russian Dumplings" with two choice of stuffing, beef and potato, and 5 topings!Haven't had the chance to try the bar yet!

Hands down, one of the best late night spots! I remember this from college 18 years ago. Different location (used to be Amy’s Cafe), but same exact goodness. Absolutely perfect. The price hasn’t even changed much. Sirloin is better than the potato, but both are excellent. I even bought frozen orders to take back home. Love this place!!

AMAZING!!!!!!!!!You should not miss it if you ever come to Madison!A bite of late night happiness ??? especially on a rainy day and hide under this warm roof.

positively surprised by the similarity of this beef pelmeni to Turkish manti. The only difference is the latter is served with garlic yoghurt and melted butter and crushed red pepper/tomato sauce on top as in the photo (cooked by spouse). i liked the hot sauce and cilantro combination only. next time we’ll buy in bulk and boil at home.

When Paul was a wee lad he thought you himself, "How can I bring smiles and comfort to the good people of Madison, Wisconsin?" And then a dumpling fell off a tree and hit him on the head. Eureka!! An idea was born. Paul perfected his precious pel'meni and shared his natural born gift with all who could dine at his fine establishment. The tender mouth-watering meat and potato pel'meni will bring you comfort and delight like you never imagined before. The works is a desirable addition to the meal, but is optional. A must stop restaurant when living or visiting Madison.

Went for dumplings and will come back for the Hawaiian milkshake shot!! ??Yummy food and yummy drinks are obviously taken seriously at Paul’s Pel’meni. Decided to order another shot at the bartenders recommendation and got the Crabapple which was GLORIOUS…jolly rancher fruity that holds a subtle bite ?

Paul’s exemplifies the idea that simple can be flawless. A full mixed order with the fixings and sour cream is a hearty satisfy meal for any occasion. I love to come hear with friends before heading out for the night, or by myself for a quick bite. Even makes a great casual date spot. Thank you Paul’s!

A tried and true Madison classic that endeavors to find itself in a special place in your heart and stomach.Do yourself a favor and jump into a Full Order Mix with the works and sit back and enjoy the comfort food wave ride over you. If that sounds dramatic, then you clearly haven’t tried some yet.The inside bar and dining space is an eclectic, cozy haunt with exactly what you’d expect from a veteran restaurant that’s endured the test of time.

We found this place late night after a show at the Sylvee. The dumplings were delicious. We got two full orders with the works and couldn’t have been happier. Jake, the bartender, was super personable and we had a great time chatting. The guys up front were welcoming and friendly. We will be back in our next trip to Madison!!
