I like Paul's Club but I don't care for bartenders who are ungrateful for a 25% tip or just think they're too cool to say thank you.Short haired redhead male bartender needs to be retrained in customer service. Two bartenders on staff and 4 total people in the bar, so not overwhelming where the courtesy could've been overlooked. I tipped and the couple next to me also tipped. No thank you or acknowledgement either time. You're not that entitled dude. Learn some manners.

This place does not like black ppl, they wouldn’t even serve us

This place is awesome! There’s a tree in here!

The tree! What am amazing place! Seriously love the vibe here!

Great bourbon selection. I went here after the Alton Brown show at the overture theater across the street. #beyondtheeats #buffalotrace

We went and wanted to watch a badger game. It was dead but the bartender was very nice. I hope to go back when there are people there

Very chill atmosphere compared to other bars near UW-Madison. Theres a cute tree in the middle of the bar.

Very lound and crowded, definitely a college town bar. Not my scene.

Bartender was awesome and super friendly.

Paul's is still the best place to have a drink before a show at the Overture Center. Great vibe. Friendly staff. Still no food, so eat somewhere else earlier, then stop in here. They make a perfect Aperol Spritz.Beforetimes review from 2 years ago:Authentic. No food.Sit by the tree and order a brandy old fashioned sweet with olives.
