Easy place for lunch with friends. Individuals order and pay their own. Plenty of options for different appetite and tastes. Good coffee! Plus, you can pick up some good bakery items for tomorrow's breakfast!

This was my first time visiting this venue. The French onion soup was delicious and the Chai Tea Latte also good. Of course the bread was what it should be as per having bread in their name. The barbecue chicken is NOT a fully bbqued chicken but rather a drizzle of sauce, legitimately as pictured on their menu. If your expectations are to have a form of fully bbqued chicken sandwich, this is not the place for that just a FYI.I had to ask for a table to be cleaned off for the two of us and they forgot to move the Latte to my self serve area so I could have it too. Overall dissatisfied with the service on the inside for on my lunch date with my wife. Guess it's not my cup of tea, pun intended!
I have now ordered panera from this location on the app twice, and they keep going to the wrong place!! You would think that someone could read the address properly and have it delivered to the right place. Apparently not. Very disappointed in this Panera and will be contacting them for a refund or my food. Shouldn’t be this hard to get some breakfast!
Not what it used to be... prices grew 50% over last year and a half, quality of food went noticably down... i find rotten salad leafes in my salad every time, come on...Make sure you check your order if you are picking it up, half of the time i have to talk to manager cause they screwed it up
Food was pretty good and quick to come out, but nothing else what great.The bread was just thrown in the bag.Their online ordering system wasn't working with the gift card I tried. I called and it rang until the call disconnected or they hung up. This was during their less busy time (the automated system said the busy time was 6p-7p.It was cheaper for the exact same order inside as I had entered online. They didn't tell me they were out of avocado when I went in so thankfully I knew from it telling me online.It would have been nice if they asked if I needed plastic utensils instead of just giving them to me.
Very disappointed. Ordered steak sandwich on baguette. Steak? No it was sliced roast beef! For over a $10.00 sandwich, I expected steak. Came with cheese on it. Baguette was great. However, sandwich came with soggy, red onions. I don't think they were cooked. And it had horseradish on it! Neither one of us eats horseradish. Came with chips and something else. I asked if they had any other side,she named a few and we chose tomatoes and cukes. We didn't know and weren't told it was extra. I had coffee which was ok. But I think $2.69 is over priced. Our bill came to $28.73!!We won't be back.
I’m leaving this review specifically for Patrick!!! I’ve lived in Madison my whole life and he was the nicest, most helpful employee I’ve met at Panera yet. Even as I sat eating my food and it was past close he was so kind to everyone and let me know I didn’t need to rush and can take my time. I really appreciate his attitude, going above and beyond in the small things. If we had morepeople like Patrick in the world it’d be so much more delightful! Thank you again Patrick, God Bless :)
Every time I order from here it takes 45 minutes to an hour and half just for my food to be made. I even order in advance and it’s still not ready. Whenever I show up, and I’m waiting all I hear is their employees chit chatting behind the counter… I have to say something everytime to get my food made which ends up taking more time. The professionalism in this restaurant is not acceptable either. Only person who offered assistance was one guy who kept asking to see if my food was made and kept apologizing to me.
This is the best Panera location in Madison period. Staff are always friendly and courteous. Food is delicious and fresh. I would highly recommend this location to anyone.
