I love Panera and have for years now. I also understand how times have been tough during the pandemic and even tougher with the labor shortage but my love for Panera has waned. I've had multiple experiences that have been sub-par. At first I thought it was a breakfast issue. I ordered a breakfast sandwich with an egg over easy and it was like rubber, the next time it was scrambled. Then I went to the egg white, spinach, avocado and there was no egg white and so on.... .Then I stopped ordering breakfast and tried other things. I ordered 2 smoothies for rapid pick up and waited over 15 minutes (after we received a text they were ready) while 2 employees were complaining to each other. I finally asked about the smoothies and they were ready but out of their line of vision. By the time we got them they were warm and gross. Last week I ordered the new Mexican Corn chowder and they forgot the tortilla strips. This weekend I ordered the same thing and no tortilla strips. Worse than that.... there was a piece of plastic in my soup so I just threw the soup out. The french baguette that comes on the side also didn't seem right. My husband ordered the Creamy Chicken Wild Rice... it wasn't creamy and there seemed to be no ingredients in it... it was like watery broth. I understand times are tough on restaurants, retail, etc. We try to support our local food establishments, tip generously and , try to cut them slack but I'm tired of paying for food that sucks. I will try another Panera location before giving up but this location seems to have issues and I've been going there since it opened.
I ordered a salad WITHOUT chicken. They first gave me a salad WITH chicken. I then asked them for a NEW salad. All they did was try to take all of the chicken off but there were bits of chicken in the salad. All they did was try to take the pieces off! Not a fresh salad! Not one without the fat of meat! HORRIBLE way to do business! Good riddance!
The cashier woman was very friendly, but as I was waiting I could hear them in the kitchen messing up my order saying oh it was broccoli mac & cheese etc. when I opened the bag to get my food, everything was just thrown in the bag. Mac n Cheese was cold, bread stale, there was nothing enjoyable about eating their food today. I would be willing to try other food items but the bagels, grilled cheese and Mac and cheese aren’t it sis. ??
Food was the norm though did have to request dressing, missing chips. The reason I would never go back is how horrible the management was. I was in the bathroom with our 2 year old and on our way out an employee came blowing into the bathroom and smoked my kid in the face so badly he had a goose egg and immediately started crying. Obviously an accident but without saying sorry, she turned around and ran out. So we let the manager know. Instead of offering ice or saying sorry or anything like that she just looked at him and went back to her tablet. When we were upset she snapped that she was filling out an incident form, acting like we were being unreasonable. When we complained that she didn’t really communicate that to us she smirked like we were being crazy. Never said sorry, rolled her eyes at us. We left and will not be coming back.
Quick service, good food, very clean! Faster than my local panera, so I was incredibly satisfied! Ordered the BBQ chicken salad & brocolli cheddar soup.
Went there to get lunch to go today. Food was great but extremely expensive. My main complaint is that the manager there - a middle aged female was extremely rude and demeaning to the line staff right in front of customers. Saying things like “if you don’t weigh the chicken I will write you up.” Those things should be said in private. She should not humiliate employ’s and treat them like they are so below her. She was so arrogant and power trippy. Seems like a terrible manager. Otherwise this place would have received 5 stars.
Food is fine, something is always missing from the order. Bread bowls especially they seem to struggle with.
This was my boyfriend and Is first time at Panera and they were extremely accommodating. 1000% recommend. The cheesy broccoli soup bowl and turkey deli sandwich were amazing!!!
I've visited Panera regularly for a long time. The food is very good and the attention is good. On my last visit, this last aspect was lacking. Apparently now they assume that all customers have preorder online and they don't bother to ask a walk- in customer if they need anything. We stood near the register for some time while the persons behind the counter went around their business without acknowledging our presence. We had to ask whether we needed to order online, before they took our order.
Eating there is pretty good, but don't order takeout. The website is impossible to navigate, and the last two times I was there, they had no record of my order. I'm done with them. Used to love the place.
