Rude employees. Specially the black guy with small blondish dreads. I went in to put an order but first I wanted to ask a question about the menu and the guy just walked away. After almost hitting me with the door on the way in. He was opening the door for a handicap person acting like he was mad for having to do that. I walked out of the restaurant without purchasing anything. 2:25pm 5/24/22
I ordered a broccoli and cheese bread bowl from door dash. Got the sealed package from the driver and got the soup. But no bread. How is it that workers at a place called panera bread can forget the bread, for a dish called the bread bowl? Called them and said we gotta contact door dash, which I understand is the process. I'm writing this not to get a refund for an incomplete meal, but to draw attention to the obvious lack of training, or the willingness to send out incomplete orders. Literally just gotta place bread in the bag and they can't do that
It's right by my office so I've frequently visited it over the past years. The quality of food and service has gone down considerably and the pandemic just accelerated it. It's expensive and dirty and the coffee is almost always lukewarm. Like another reviewer said, this place needs new management desperately.
I don't know if this should be on Panera or Doordash but either way my delivery never made it to me after repeated phone calls. The person that took my call was nice enough but didn't solve the problem. I used the Panera app. From now on I will pick up only.
Ordered delivery for a smoothie and cookie. They forgot my smoothie and the cookie had a hair BAKED into it. You could pick up the cookie by the hair. Disgusting. The expiration date for the cookie was also 12/18/21. TWO MONTHS OLD.
We order here from work a lot (unfortunately) and there is always an issue; stale bagels, hair in sandwich (I've learned to dissect before eating, now I just don't order them), super short on sandwich fillings, ask for sliced bagels and they aren't, etc. I got a veggie sandwich one time thinking it would be better than the meat options and it was the saddest damn sandwich I've ever seen. Desperately needs new management there. Used to love Panera but this location has really ruined it over the last year.
Service wasn't really an issue but comparing food to the University Avenue Panera, there is no comparison. If you have a car just come to this one. They actually give you a full portion instead of a snack sized $11 sandwich. Also relatively peaceful study environment; they don't constantly have 4 alarms going off for burning bread in the toasters, and they pick up the phone when it rings, besides letting it ring for minutes on end.
I live very close to this Panera bread. I have seen a great decrease in service and customer service. They store closes early on Saturday and Sunday and you can not count on it having espressos or smoothies. I recently placed an online order and called to check the progress. I talked to a very rude associate who hung up on me. Very frustrated with this Panera and there attitude to customers.
The bagels are great but my daughter's order was missing her blueberry bagel. And how can we get a small individual plain cream cheese when we ordered 13 bagels. I understand they were out of big tubs but only one come on...
good reliable service a bit frustrating you can only order with kiosks even though there is always someone behind the counter. tables aren’t always the cleanest and they only over takeout meals even if you are eating there. good quality food and bakery items though.
