The food was delicious and the server was excellent.
The food was AMAZING, not one part of our meals fell below par. The fish fry was the best, which the waitress said could be alluded to the fact that they don't batter the fish until they cook it. The difference is evident. They were quite busy on a Friday night but got us in quickly and got us out quickly as well. This is our new go-to restaurant.

My husband and I order here probably once a week. We ate in for the first time on Thursday. Food is always good. I love their nachos and also their fish. We’ve been to the Madison location and the Verona location. Very consistent!

My husband ordered the 50/50 sandwich (two types of shredded meat) and loved it. I ordered the coconut shrimp. It was delicious as is, but I thought it could use some dipping sauce. I asked the waitress, and she suggested the firecracker sauce. That was perfect! Definitely will order that again!
North and South has good meat and gives you a lot of it. Everything from the smokehouse was well cooked and delicious, especially with their smoked BBQ sauce. The fried pickles were also an absolute winner. Overall a great experience (and we get to relive it with copious leftovers)!
Delicious food and even better service! Gluten allergy was taken very seriously and they even did the fried pickles in cornmeal batter for us! Thank you Rachel for a great meal, 10/10 would recommend again.
Wonderful BBQ in Madison. Although this being a chain restaurant, it felt like the people cared about the food being served. Huge portions and very tasty!!!
