The best place to eat Indian food in Madison. The staff is extremely nice and our server Krishna was extremely accommodating. The chef has hands of god and is insanely talented at making tasty food. I will be extremely sad if this spot closes. Thank you for being awesome
The biryani we had; veg and chicken dum biryani were awesome. We had an eggplant dish which was much tangy than anticipated. The chapati were like frozen chapatis reheated.
First time trying this restaurant. Walked into a wonderfully spicy smell. The food was amazing, had the right amount of spice, and the service was very good. Appeared to also do a lot of take away. Have already recommended this place to others
Received very less quantity of goat dum biryani, compared to last time, and the quality has come down, goat meat is red and very hard, double ka meeta sweet was very bad, was thrown in garabage. Biryani curry looks watery with no taste and curd was like liquid butter milk. No value for money. Much disappointed.
Don’t recommend this place.I cannot believe that this is the same restaurant I used to visit more than once every week before the pandemic. The food is much worse. We ordered family goat dum biriyani. The amount of appetizer or dessert that comes with it is very less. Between Oct 2019-March 2020, I had ate at least 25 times. So I knew their taste in and out as I had tried almost every biriyani. The owner also seems to have changed. I am not sure about this but the folks who were present at the counter and serving has changed.Honestly I would have given it one star. But my wife ordered the masala tea and that was good. This made me think of giving it 2 stars.
Ordered Veg Biriyani at the restaurant. Horrible taste! The vegetables were not even cooked properly. Not at all worth it. Gave the feedback and the staff was like next time we will make it better. After the experience they are expecting us to come back and order again ?
ordered egg friend rice and never felt that much regret for ordering such a bad tasting food and ulavucharu biriyani that was another bad tasting food i received in ToGo order ! would not recommend those 2 items for anyone from this restaurant anymore!
Food was amazing!!!!! Especially curry leaf chicken. No words to express my surprise and enjoyment with this dish. I’m so lucky to meet chef Saravanan to get an idea of how he does it. He gave me a hint but still his secret is safe with him.You must try it if you go to this place. Sorry didn’t take any picture cos we’re hypnotized by the curry leaf chicken.
This is still my favorite biryani in the madison area. It's really delicious and that hasn't changed but the portions have been shrinking. We always get a jumbo sized biryani and the last couple times we have gone have most definitely not been what we have come to expect. I understood when they raised prices and can even understand smaller portions with what is going on in the world and to a certain extent but my wife said she asked about it and the person denied it... that is harder to accept because the size of the biryani is undeniably and noticeably smaller. It's the denial that makes me take a star back.
Picked up goat dum biryani today. The meat was too tough and did not taste like goat at all. And the biryani was just plain rice.I've always liked their food. But today was unacceptable.
