Arrived early evening to meet a friend and client. Devin, the bartender, appeared friendly but unfortunately she has a bad attitude. If your female friend doesn't respond to her flirting she will go out of her way to make the experience terrible. Hopefully management helps her understand this isn't her bar to groom patrons as her gfriends. She had the audacity to call us names when we left the bar
My favorite restaurant in Madison. Great food, the mussels were amazing. Pro tip, get the flatbread and mussels so you can use the extra Naan to mop up the mussel sauce, or get a side order of rice.House cocktail selection is a little disappointing, they made it smaller during COVID.However the cocktails and bartenders are excellent.
This place is a long time favorite, but I love the alley they've converted into outdoor dining, so we had a romantic dinner for two: an oversized bottle of wine and wood-fired pizzas, and enjoyed the cool of the evening at sunset.
One of my favorite restaurants in Madison. Always get the chips and salsa. Rest of the menu is awesome, rotating items are always really tasty.
Food was delicious and flavorful; I love the mussels in cream. Customer service was attentive and happy to assist. Atmosphere was intimate but a little loud, which is expected of a small establishment that is popular and well liked. A great date night spot.
The atmosphere is good. Food is ok. I've been to Nattspil several times and the last few times I would describe as a decline in service quality. Servers seem upset. Our waitress was staring at my friend each individual time she came to "check" on us. Lastly, she toss the bill on the table with a snarky attitude. Drinks seemed watered down. I get covid has made things rough for the service industry, but certain attitudes won't help the industry recover. I can definitely take my business elsewhere. The Botanist on State St. has a similar atmosphere and much much better service.
Genuinely awful service. Didn't even get to order food. We went after some time at a club and one of our friends was a bit buzzed but not drunk. He put his head down to laugh and immediately a waitress came up and barked at him, "You can't be sleeping here!! You need to leave." The rest of our party hadn't even arrived yet. We waited for them and when they arrived we had to leave because even though we explained that he wasn't falling asleep, they didn't care and still kicked us out. Really really bad service. Also, not a great business practice to kick out a group of 5 all of which who were going to order drinks and food. Especially when they were told that they weren't correct about the situation and didn't care.
We stumbled into an absolute gold mine here on a Friday night. The food was stupendous. We had the noods,, sausage wontons, and pizza. The pizza was delicious. The noods were an absolute flavor explosion. Great place for a first date or a 1000th date. The service was impeccable!
Good food and friendly staff. The environment was chill to hang out in too. We were there on a Sunday night and it was busy. We got the last seat and it stayed full.
The apple, Brie, sage pizza RULES.Brick oven pizza, great atmosphere, a little cramped sometimes, but it's one of my go-to evening spots in Madison every time
