It’s always great here but tonight was especially wonderful!! My mom and I came for a birthday dinner and received spectacular service from Julian (I hope I got their name right!!) on the patio. We requested the sandwich we ordered to share have 1/2 with swiss cheese and 1/2 with vegan cheese (if possible, we knew that was so picky) and they did that AND brought it out on two different plates!! The food was awesome as always and we were so very pleased with the kindness of the staff. Thank you, Monty’s!!!!
Really enjoyed the food, the wait staff were very nice. I had a bacon avocado club and would definitely recommend. The couple of people I ate with enjoyed their food very much. Large serving size, not over priced. Only drawback is it is a bit dirty feeling inside, but not enough to prevent repeat visits.Overall would suggest giving it a try!
Ordered some food for Mother’s Day and a couple of items were missing/incorrect (very understandable on such a busy day!!) I called and staff was extremely helpful and accommodating and sent the corrected order promptly. Their team went above and beyond and did more than I asked, despite working what I’m sure was already a hectic day. The food is always delicious (true comfort food) and they have some amazing vegan options! Have been coming to Monty’s for a while and will definitely continue to order from here.

Authentic 50s-60s diner atmosphere with traditional brunch and some modern twists. This is my favorite brunch place. Great outdoor seating during the summer. They also have desserts, beer on tap, and standard cocktails. Food is fantastic. All menu items are labeled as vegetarian, vegan, or gluten sensitive which makes it really easy for those with dietary restrictions. Solid bottomless coffee (though it is diner and not a boutique coffee place so if you are looking for a fancy pour over or something like that, you should let someone else enjoy Monty's).Also has seating at the bar with full meal service
Monty's is a fun, welcoming diner with tasty, affordable food. I was a little hesitant of a Monty Cristo sandwich with fruit preserves, but it was conservative and added a nice sweetness. The daily scramble was also great today (and our friends say they haven't ever been disappointed by it). Pay attention to the difference between "french fries" and "american fries" when ordering since "american fries" are the sliced potatoes served on the breakfast side of the menu, by default, while the "french fries" are the square cut fried potatoes served on the lunch side, by default. They were both very good! We'll be back to try some more things off the menu soon!
Really great service, has this old school vibe to it which I love! Their vegan beyond burgers are sooo yummy!
I thought this was going to be great-Midwest Diner-I mean what could go wrong. Unfortunately quite a bit. The ambience is great as is the building but the food was just weird. Like they were trying to do elevated diner food but just couldn’t quite hit the mark. Had the Monte Cristo sandwich and coleslaw. The sand which was just a soggy mess and the coleslaw was vinegary and odd. Carrot cake for dessert-except the frosting wasn’t usual cream cheese but kind of a whipped cream-again just strange. Friends had similar experiences with the Denver Omlete and cheesecake. It seems to be popular and bustling but just missed the mark completely for us.
We enjoy their hamburgers, always cooked well and tasty. This time we ordered the family fish fry - the batter was light and crispy but the fish was bland. The place is always busy, sometimes the food is inconsistent but overall the food is good here.
Honestly, I wasn't too impressed. After reading all the raving reviews I was expecting great things.Perhaps it's because I went for a dinner and got dinner food. Maybe it's better in the morning/ early afternoon hours and with breakfast.The food was OK, not super great. The waitress didn't really check up on us and they were not busy.Tuesday evening, 2/22.I may go back to try again, for a breakfast.
