Comfy and friendly hole in the wall, truly a hidden gem! Warm lighting, good music, and a cozy atmosphere all to go along with amazing food and a wide array of beers and cocktails made by friendly and welcoming staff. Would highly recommend!
Stopped for a quick bite before a show at The Sylvee due to the vicinity. Tofu tom ka was DELICIOUS. Just the right amount of spice and great flavors. The cheese curds were more of cheese clouds. The breading so was light and fluffy with the perfect amount of crispiness. Very attentive server and nice ambiance. Ladies, check out the fun bathroom decor. Gents, my buddy reports that your restroom is not as exciting. Will be back to try more of the menu!
Awesome hidden gem! We had some awesome drinks - a tap beer and a from scratch custom cocktail - played games, and thoroughly enjoyed out time here! Very chill vibe. We will be back again and again!

A nice little local spot that's a bit hidden. MadisonTap is classy without being pretentious.Disclaimer: I did not order food here so my review may be a bit biased. The bartender assured us that their vegan options were incredible.MadisonTap features many local Wisconsin beers on tap. They seem to often rotate the beers and keep a solid selection. MadisonTap was spacious with bar seats, tables, and booths available. The design and decor were well thought out. The crowd seems to be young professionals in their mid-20s to early 30s.I don't recall the beers I got here but I do remember prices being ~$7-10 range mark. The bartender and owner place special emphasis on being vegetarian and vegan friendly. Even one of the cocktails used vegan butter.There was a single bartender when I visited but it was a bit slow. We had a great conversation and watched Christmas movies on the projectors. Overall, solid experience.5/5.
Chad is the ideal dude to have serving drinks. Knowledgeable and skilled as anything. The atmosphere and vibe is grand and absolutely worth returning to.

Ordered sliders as described on menu but if came as one sandwich. Reached out via Instagram with a question about reservations and was told to contact via Facebook-never got a response. Called multiple times and left a message about a credit card that was left there-never got a response.
This place has a magical courtyard, year round apparently. Great food, friendly staff, terrific menu featuring many vegan options. We will be back! Also has jazz nights!
