Our visit was really good! We only had one issue with an overcooked entree and it was quickly replaced with one that was cooked correctly and tasted fantastic. We had the Chopped steak (with a whole sweet potato), chicken tenders, full rack of ribs and a burger. Everything was delicious! The warm, fresh bread with whipped butter (free) was also much appreciated. Also got the wonderful free dessert as a birthday reward from their loyalty program. See pics.
Enjoyed the ribeye sandwich for lunch. It was juicy on a nice crispy bread It took a while to get a seat because they were short staffed, but it wasn't a long wait. We had a great server and considering they were short staffed, the staff was doing a nice job keeping things moving.
We had never eaten at a Longhorn Steakhouse before. Our granddaughter picked it for her Birthday dinner.- she's eaten here before and her Mom and Dad like it. We grandparents found the food pretty disappointing- it was impossible to find anything healthy on the menu and the main ingredient seemed to be SALT. Lots and lots and lots of salt. My 6 oz sirloin steak was not juicy, pretty tough with a strange aftertaste. Husband said his chowder was just OK and the stuffed mushrooms were "just strange". We both thought the bread was very good, my green salad was nice and crisp but the balsamic vinaigrette dressing was watery with no noticeable balsamic vinegar flavor. My asparagus side was excellent- lots of fresh asparagus well prepared. Overall, a very mediocre meal. But the granddaughter and her parents seemed to enjoy it.
We were greeted with a smile the waitress was awesome we will feed it from others an inappropriate distance due to this pandemic. The waitress was awesome friendly kind and on point timely manner and bringing our food. I always enjoy this place with my family as well as friends I would suggest if you're looking for a great atmosphere and place for you and your family too build memories and have fun to go here.
We ordered 4 meals for curbside takeout. My wife sat in her car waiting 30 minutes for our order that was ready when she got there but failed to deliver it to her in a timely manner resulting in cold food by the time it got home.When we got home we realized 1 and a half of our meals were missing. We paid almost 70 dollars to not get our entire order. As you see in the photo instead of receiving each of our meals in large containers, everything was separated in 9 smaller containers. My medium stake was cooked well-done which made it unable for me to chew.Literally everything went wrong with my order. They must have a terribly trained staff.
Clarissa is the greatest server I have encountered! **** Update Clarissa was only being nice to get a $50 gift card from her supervisor. So I wrote a nice review, actually the service was below average and I had to sit at the bar for about 9 minutes before I was approached by a server. From the outside looking in the server’s at this Longhorn are a bunch of talking, lazy bums!!!
I never leave negative reviews ANYWHERE I go, I always just deal and go on with my day but my experience here on 1/6/2021 was ridiculous and something I have never experienced ever. It was my boyfriends birthday and we aren’t even from Madison, WI. We decided to come here because it was close to the hotel & any other longhorn we’ve been to is always pretty good. We called 5 minutes before we left our hotel to ask if there was a wait and was told there was no wait, we leave and get there to be told there is a 20 minute wait, so we wait 20 minutes. we finally get seated and the bartender ends up being our waitress, very inattentive, didn’t seem like she wanted to wait on us, I was being overly nice because I just genuinely thought she was having a rough day but it just progressively gets worse. We were also sat next to a group of guys, i definitely think it’s okay to laugh, conversate & what not with your table but these dudes were yelling at the top of their lungs, cussing non stop, to the point were me and my boyfriend could barley talk, it’s just simple respect & they didn’t care about anyone else at the restaurant trying to enjoy their meal & the whole staff seemed to be friends with them so we didn’t say anything. our whole dinner. We get our drinks & then our food 20 minutes or so later, never was asked for a refill, my glass was empty & didn’t have any sauce, was never checked up on. my boyfriend did get a different waiters… should say hostess attention to get us sauce & she brought it back & still our waitress never checked up on us, we were barley done with our food and our waitress brought us our check with a 25% discount?? them knowing something went and didn’t acknowledge it? just set it on the table and didn’t say a word and left, i set my card on it when we were done, came and grabbed it & brought it back. absolutely no communication or anything. we just got up and left.
Loved the food and server was excellent knew his stuff!! Wish I could place his name, but will return!Was a little understaffed, but it is what it is!
Longhorn has been our favorite for forever. Any special occasion.This time for my husband's b-day, of course that's what he wanted. We were greeted by a pleasant man who said he'd have a table in 15. Our waitress was assume. I will say our family had a great time, with the exception of the female bartender. We really hated to take her time by ordering drinks.She basically tossed our coasters at us and said '' what da ya want''. No smile or welcome, no thank you! AND our drinks stunk. If you are a bartender in Wisconsin, you better know how to make an Old Fashion!10/18 @5:30
Normally I have great service but this time I arrived at 8:45pm . After waiting a bit at the unmanned host stand I asked a server if they were still open. The server said yes and sat me in a booth in the bar. At that point I was forgotten. I sat there for 10 minutes without being greeted whilst the 3 people in the bar area served the 4 people at the bar. I finally just got up and left. It would have saved me half an hour if they would have just been closed. Do better.
