I lost my ex-husband to this bar. Every night he would come back from this bar and beat me. That was about 7 years ago and he’s still wasting his life at this bar. His kidneys are shot and he sees his so-called friends at the bar more than he does his own kids. I hate all places that keep alcoholism alive in our society. We need establishments that build people up, not tear people down. With all that I am, I Wish I could give negative stars to the Lockeroom, making money by destroying people and families.
Ran into a disgusting excuse for a human being at this dive. Not the kind of experience that I would ever return for.
This bar used to belong to my uncle, Steve Caravello back in the 70's. He was a golfing legend in Madison. He was inducted into the Wisconsin Golf Hall of Fame in 1967. He won the Madison City Men's championship an unprecedented nine times. He shot is age for the first time at age 64 at Maple Bluff Country club, one of the best courses in Wisconsin and continued to shoot his age or lower for the next 17 years in a row at Maple Bluff. Know that when you dine and enjoy yourselves in this bar, it retains the spirit of a true champion, my uncle Steve.
Came in on Monday the 1st of November 2021 with the thought of getting a meal; waited 10 minutes to talk to a woman with her mask barely on and rarely out side of the kitchen nook. Once she finally came and talked to me all she said when I asked to order was that the grill wasn’t on. How is the grill not on at 1pm, that’s ridiculous. I walked out. Place is an absolute dive.
