We went to two other places before coming back downtown to eat. First, we tried Ale Asylum and I was shocked to hear they only offered pizza. We next tried Karben4 and were told by the busy bartender that we could order food from the bar. No actual food such as a fish dinner or even a sandwich. We wound up at LJ’s and everything was great! There were people holding open the doors and they welcomed us in and made sure someone knew we had just walked in. In a very busy crowd, there were still places to sit and eat. I was happy with what I ordered and my friend enjoyed his meal too. Thanks LJ’s for rescuing the night! That Lady A concert would’ve been much longer on empty tummies! Side note: since when did Ale Asylum stop serving food?!
Best fried walleye I've ever had. It covered the plate! Great place for a drink and a good meal while you catch a game with friends. It was a bit crowded (it's Friday!) and we were still seated quickly and the service was fantastic. We will be back! Conveniently across from the Indigo Hotel.

Stopped for lunch. Great food and good service.
Great fish, and extremely friendly staff. I believe they have fish week round, so if you can't make Friday fish fry night, no sweat, as they have a few options all the same!
Great atmosphere, Drinks and Food!!
Been to LJ's twice and they have the best fish fry hands down. The fried perch with hot sauce is amazing!! Great place to hang out with friends and our server this evening, Kelly, was super nice.
Literally cancelled my TouchTunes request twice. If you don’t want me to play interesting music, then don’t offer it, take my money, and skip the tracks twice. It’s not that hard.
Big place that can seat many people. Just stopped for drinks. Full bar and maybe 10-12 taps. Eclectic crowd as there are always any number of events going on nearby with Bree Stevens, and Sylvee in close proximity.
Came here to get food after our flag football game at breese. We had a group of 8 but it was Monday night, so not busy at all (4-5 other tables). We waited almost 20 minutes just to get our initial drink order. 40 minutes in and we still had not been able to put in a food order so we decided to leave. It was another 30 minutes before everyone was able to close out.
