Visited this bakery because it's closest to our apartment read good reviews. They worked with me to get a picture cake for my boyfriends birthday and turned out great. Tasted fantastic looked great. Worked with me to put it in windowless box so I could suprise him with the cake I choose to get him. They also have great custard Bismarks.
Get your kringle here. We stopped in to grab a blueberry kringle late morning on a weekday and got the last one (with that cream cheese frosting on it). Only one other customer in the store, but it took a while for a worker to come out and serve us. Must have been a slower time after the early morning rush. Quick parking right out front is appreciated, especially with the road at the south end of the mall under construction. That delicious pastry lasted a few days before we finally finished it.
I have bought donuts, Kringles and cookies from Lanes for years.they have the best donuts ever.you don't have to go to Racine to buy a kringle.Lanes are better..try their molasses cookies, better than your mothers?
A great bakery. We live 5-hrs away and made sure to stop by when we were in the vicinity. The Kringles are amazing.
We were in Madison and needed a last minute Birthday Cake. I googled and read the reviews. I gave them a call and I was told they had several different cakes. They didn’t not disappoint me . I bought 2 cakes and the Lady wrote on both for me. We also bought some fresh pastries in the cake. The Cake was very rich but it was very fresh and moist. I will definitely return ! Best bakery I've found in Madison. Pastries and donuts were delicious and reasonably priced. Staff was courteous, personable, and efficient.
This is an amazing find!! The Kringles!!! We think there can’t be any better, anywhere. And they do online orders so quickly with great delivery.

Visited this place on a whim as I was passing through and asked if they would pack the cookies so they didn't crumble while I was traveling. The lady was very friendly and took the extra time to do a thorough job. They made it through TSA and the plane ride, they were in perfect shape when I got back to St. Louis!
