Been to Jordan's nearly unparalled Friday Fish Fry many times: Always worth the trip.Today, we caught their Wednesday Fish Fry.Same great celebration; lighter portions cuz we still gotta work in the morning. Our bluegill was lightly breaded and quick fried, so that panfish sweetness was on lock.Hump Day just got a lot more fun!!!
Came in from out of town and will definitely have to visit again. Food was phenomenal and staff was awesome. Highly recommended
I had the cod fish fry. Didn't like it. I like a really crunchy and crispy outside. So, my husband ate it and said it's one of the best he's ever had.I also thought the onion rings were too thick. Fell apart as I ate them.Parking was an issue. Bathroom was dingey.
Reasonably good pub fare, with a variety of things on the menu without being worryingly huge. Portions of sides are a little small - potatoes aren't exactly expensive, so it'd be nice if there were enough to fill the plate. Not particularly cheap, but not drastically overpriced either, especially so close to the stadium. Quick and polite service. Not particularly busy during a weekday lunch.
Everything we have ever had here has been cooked to perfection. My standard order on Fridays is the cod, seasoned wedge fries, and bowl of chowder. It's fun to see how the chowder and cole slaw change (slightly) every week. If you're in the mood for lighter or fancier fare, I would highly recommend the "catch of the day." If carrot cake is on the menu that day, ORDER IT!! and thank me later.
Good place for lunch. If the weather is good outdoor seating is available. It is protected from the wind on 3 sides so is comfortable when cold but sun shining. Salads are especially good value and may need a leftovers box.
We came in with a large group (15) and very little notice. The friendly staff worked to find us space and got us seated rather quickly. (luckily many guests had just left to attend a Badgers BB Game).We had an excellent meal! The food came out quickly and was done just as ordered.This is also a GREAT location to get a Fish Fry at!
It has great food. The food got to the table at an adequate time. The waiter was fantastic.
Been coming here off and on for 30 years, starting before it was Jordan's. Used to go a lot back when I was in school and lived in the area. I have probably been to this establishment over 100 times. Never ever had a problem. The staff has always treated me nicely and the food is always good. Never even had a problem with another patron. That's for the whole 30 years. Thanks Jordan's/Big 10 Pub!
The cheese curds were great with spicy Aioli provided.
