If I could give 100 stars, I would. Every single bartender is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. This place really knows how to make someone feel welcome. If you ever have a chance, or are in the area, stop in.
Glad they finally got rid of the dirt floors and have color TVs now!
Bartender was extremely rude. We waited for him to fix the pool table for 20 minutes while he was "busy" talking to his friends. The place reeked of cigarettes and the vodka gimlets were undrinkable. Will never return.
Love that they had a couple of pool tables, cheap drinks, pinball machine, and a sweet jukebox

This is a bar? Sems more like a passionate enjoyable place to spend time with like-minded people as well as the outside viewpoints I so readily and heroically listen to. I mean seriously, it's so good it makes itself seem awful in comparison. I would feel completely comfortable relieving myself in my pants in public here because of the friendly atmosphere and womb-like acoustics. A must see for people interested in alcohol.
As a former international rock sensation, I can accurately report this this bar is in fact quite ideal. Upon showing proper identification I was indeed able to obtain myself a brewski. The rockstar community (international) is happily pleased with the ideal state of this business. Rock on ?
The Ideal could fire their racist bartenders and replace them with ones that don't tolerate, let alone participate in and actively approve of white supremacist bs. Brady, I'm looking at you. (He's one of the owners)
This bar is a great place to play some pool meet up with friends have drinks they have some great craft beers I am never disappointed has a cheers vibe great staff
Whenever I visit Madison, I always try ti make a stop here. It's so much fun. Great service and drinks.
