You would never know it existed based on signage, or anything else. It's inside a store. That's usually how good food start, inside of another store then bam it's big time! I had a combination fried rice. It was spicy for sure. It's certain levels of spicy you can get. In this case I went with 1 and it was still perfect. You can tell the ingredients were fresh, wasn't loaded with a lot of oils and unnecessary fillers.

One of the most flavorful and craveworthy carryout/delivery options in Madison. If you enjoy Lao/Thai cuisine, you have to try Hot N Spicy. It's the real deal!If you love spicy food, Hot N Spicy lives up to its name. The papaya salad, especially, packs a real punch at the highest heat level (some would say that's the case at level 2).

I wish they had more signage out front, because I wonder if there are people who can't find this gem, hidden in the back of a food store. There were cooks preparing each meal to order in a transparent, small, and what seemed to be family-owned-and-run kitchen. Meal came out piping hot and fresh. Flavors were crisp and distinct. Vegetables were a great texture. We easily made our meal vegetarian (maybe vegan?) with the choice of tofu as a protein. We left feeling satisfied, but still light and energetic, the mark of a healthy meal.

Don’t typically write reviews but this place earned it. Chicken Pad thai lvl 2 and shrimp spring rolls over delivered. Textures, flavors, portions - all there and at this price. Will definitely be back

This place was amazing, loved the food but for whatever reason they just play Russian Roulette with their hours every week now. One week they're only open on certain days which aren't days I planned on eating out, so I plan for those days the next week, then the next week they're closed on those days. Hell one week they were open like, 1 day. Food is damn good but would be nice if they would just stick to some hours.

Read reviews on the place so decided to give it a try. It’s located in the back of the Asian grocery store. I ordered drunken noodle. Food was not what I was used to. Noodles are supposed to be more on the fried side than wet side. It had sesame oil which is not normal for this dish. It was pretty good nonetheless.

5/5 had the beef jerky, sesame balls, and squash curry for $28 (a bit expensive). The sesame balls were omg so good. The beef jerky was tasty and tender for jerky; very good. The squash curry was the best curry I've had of any sort in my entire life. Period. The taste was just out of this world good. Highly, highly recommend.FYI this restaurant is inside of the grocery store in the back left of the store.

This was some of the best food I have ever had. Classic and delicious. Tucked away in the Asian grocery store is a real gem. Picture is pad Thai tofu and tofu spring roll with peanut sauce

Always friendly and delicious!

This place is legit. I have yet to have a bad dish here. I highly recommend it to anyone that will listen. Add that jerky to your order if that’s your thing. You won’t regret it.
