The view from the rooms and the location is amazing. There is a lot of great places to eat, pubs, and things to do. The rooms themselves not so amazing. The air conditioning sounds like a thunderstorms, the TV didn't work when we arrived and took several days to fix, plus there was a high pitched sound that could only be drowned out by the AC or TV. Maintenance said one of the belts on the roof top AC was causing the noise. We had to wait until the week day to get it fixed. We ended up using ear plugs to sleep. For the money we paid I don't know if we would stay again.

Good reviews must be fake. The only good things were location and the lobby is ok looking. No housekeeping during stay. Complacent Front desk staff gave me false advice sending me way out of my way (just tell me you don’t know if you don’t know) No room service available. Sub-grade beds and entire place needs an update. Restaurant not open past 10pm and no convenient food options after hrs. 20/day parking. We paid a extra for this hotel and did not expect anything extraordinary. But this lacking on a basic level. I hope this is not the new norm as I’d expect more out of most budget roadside hotels.

Terrible compared to other hotels here. Room had no microwave, no free water, bathroom looked old and used, plumbing not well-functioning, and they only gave shampoo to use. Hotel didn't have free breakfast. The only good thing about this hotel is the location.

Your bartender Zeny, on July 3rd, Sunday 2022, was unfriendly and disrespectful toward me in front of my date but obviously treat other guest with respect and friendly. Even my date told me afterward “I don’t think she likes you” . I did not recall being rude or did anything bad to her. For example I asked for “local drinks”and I meant cocktail, she loudly corrected me in front of other guests in a lecturing and confrontational way saying “local drinks means wisconsin wine and beer. Cocktails are our specialty, that is not local”. She should have inquired what I meant nicely and correct my terminology (which again is just semantic) but no she has to argue loudly that other guests were all obviously looking and my date became uncomfortable. In addition when I ask for recommendations among 3 drinks she said “you know, these are strong, manly drinks” and refuse to give recommendations, implying that I am not manly enough?? Again in loud voice that other guests were uncomfortably watching. Made me so mad. Finally I saw when she brought other guest drinks she would greet and say enjoy your drink but she just coldly push drinks to me. Spoiled my 4th July date. I am a diamond member, I don’t expect kingly treatment but I cannot believe I am disrespected in such way. The only explanation I can think of is I am Asian. I hope you could address this issue and provide a comprehensive explanation.

I stayed at this hotel for two nights for a friend's wedding. It wasn't a bad experience, and it wasn't a good experience, just okay. It was extremely convenient that this hotel was connected to the wedding venue overlooking Lake Monona, but that was the main bright spot. The beds weren't too comfortable, the towels were extremely rough and felt like they've been used for years, some of the staff did not really know what they were doing at the front desk, and the breakfast spot onside the hotel was a rip off; they charge $15 per person to eat at their buffet, but they were regularly out of food, coffee, and hot water for tea (I had to ask to get them refilled). The food was mediocre at best. Do yourself a favor and spend $15 at a restaurant in downtown Madison where you'll get your money's worth.

I haven't stayed at a premium hotel before this and I doubt I will again unless it's a destination or the convenience outweighs the price, which it did in this case. The room was perfectly nice and perfectly clean, though the shower was weirdly small. Bumping elbows against the wall, afraid to bend down because Ididn't want to fall small. The staff was also nice. They don't provide free parking or breakfast which might be the norm. I don't know. I do know that I typically spend $100 or so less for a similar experience.

I was too there on May 6 and 7, 2022. I had a good stay. One thing I want to suggest is that the fitness room will be open 24 hours. I am a early riser and love to exercise early. 6 am is late to me.

Let me start off by saying, this is a really nice hotel, in a really great location. It was in walking distance to many great restaurants and being able to walk right out and be at the water/terrace was very peaceful. My room was clean, but the bed was as hard as rocks. It felt like sleeping on a box frame. I spent 4 nights here and needless to say my body was over it by check out. I think adding new mattresses would be a great touch. Especially since that’s the main reason people come back to the hotel is for a good nights rest. But the staff were super nice and accommodating. It’s really just the comfort piece that knocked off stars.

Great location and views!

Service was excellent. April, the manager at checkin was so friendly and accommodating. Loved our room overlooking Lake Monona. The restaurant knew we had a large group and the hotel would be full, so had buffets for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It made our meals quick but good.
