One of the best places in Madison to watch soccer. I love this place, great service, beer and food. On Wednesday they have a $6-7 Chicken and potatoes special that is great for the price. Half a chicken, big scoop of potatoes and corn.
Yummy pulled pork sandwich! The Ruben was very good! Bloody Mary's were perfect!
Staff is extremely welcoming. You can tell that they all like working there. It comes through in their efforts.
Great place right on State Street. Popped in for lunch and the whole family was happy with their meal. Staff was friendly and food was tasty for a reasonable price. Would recommend and will return!
This is one of the secret spaces in Madison. For a younger crowd this place can be the NIGHT OUT, but for people seeking a wonderful evening, a dank outing or even a lovely peruse, the FOOD at Hawks is amazing. Constant engaging evening specials, great staff- seriously- this place has great service and for kids, they meet more than the standard. Bar managers are excellent with customer service and I could be happier with the chefs and supporting staff. REALLY GOOD, try try try try. Favorite space for FIFA and friends.
A little dark and cold for my taste, but the food and service can't be beat.

My girlfriend and Did a little mini trip to Madison for the weekend for our anniversary . Hawks gave us the best experience. We went for a few drinks and the general manager who was also the bartender was great. Felt like we were regulars there. 10/10 to the GM and the bar for being super friendly and making guests feel welcome. Food was also great and the prices are great . Will definitely be back if we’re ever in Madison
Would give 6 stars if i could. Hawks is my favorite go-to little spot on State, especially for lunch during the workday. Personal highlights being the Wednesday baked chicken special which is especially great, and thursday's grilled cheese and soup is perfect for the chilly autumn weather. Everything is more than reasonably priced, and the staff is just the best.
Very chill spot. Good place for young people to hang out on a Friday night.
