yes, great Reuben sandwich. Jack and I used to go there in the 1960s when George and Jim Karabis owned the bar. good memories. very nice bartender, Annie. wish we went out at night to come and see her sing.

Fish fry was awesome in a fun Madison upscale dive feel. I'll need to check out some music some time! Also the walnut burger is better than beef, fight me!
I was there for lunch which is saying something as it gets more and more difficult to find a place open during lunch. My friend had the walnut burger which he loved. I had the perch fish fry. I was attracted to it because it looked so different but it wasn't for me. Coleslaw was not so awesome either. Staff was wonderful. Still haven't seen music here yet either.
45 minutes no food. They said our order didn't get put in and would pay for our drinks. I call BS. Two tables that arrived after us have already eaten.
Plenty of space for patrons to spread out, great atmosphere. Owner was very flexible when we brought in a group of about 10.
