Was so looking forward to the great pizza Greenbush used to make. Based on our pizza tonight, has gone way downhill. The crust was burned & very TOUGH, absolutely nothing like the excellent pizza from years ago. Price went up, pizza crust texture, sadly entire taste = Down. Definitely not worth the price & wouldn’t re-order from them again. Live & learn, much better pizza elsewhere in Madison. Only gave a 3 because the sauce was good, though nothing like previously either. Ordered with 1 regular topping & that was a joke, barely there (and we don’t care for heavy toppings), this was ridiculously skimpy. Big disappointment, deserves 2.5 at best.
Absolutely perfect thin crust pizza cooked on a shake of corn meal for crispy thin crust. Delicious sauce and ideal balance of toppings (pepperoni & mushroom for us) to cheese ratio. Covid take-out only right now. Get a bottle of wine at Regent Liquor next door and make it date night, or eat the whole pie greedily on your own.
Ordered a 16" sausage and pepperoni and a 12" sausage and mushroom for carry out. Was motivated by the Bob Hemauer review in the Isthmus. The 16" was dry and overcooked and the 12" wasn't much better. At over 40.00 I expected MUCH better than this. The review made them seem excellent. This was disappointing. And, what is this new trend of putting almost no sauce on the pizza. This is the forth pizza place in Madison that seems terrified to put any sauce on their pizza. I am loath to recommend this place to anyone in the future except to extend my disdain or to give them another chance to make up for this underwhelming performance. I am thoroughly disillusioned.
Love their old fashioned donuts! Definitely worth a try if you haven’t had them - you may just get hooked!
Your Google search says you’re open till 8 o’clock tonight . I’ve called six times this evening to get a pie. Bummer

Mans named Ali serving up the pies in the kitch is turning out 9.1's on the barstool scale. He will bring it right out to you, rain or snow he doesn't care.
This place has great service and enjoyable menu. The best place in the city. The drinks and food arrived quickly and the prices were inexpensive. Highly recommended.
I eat in this restaurant many times a year! This is the best place to pass a nice evening. I go there routinely. The food is very tasty, the staff members are courteous and the rates are decent. I like being in this restaurant for a nice supper.
SUCH GOOD PIZZA. Get their house pizza, it is amazing.
