Great salad, friendly service. Recommend the Local Root w/ chicken
Healthy, tasty food! Fiesta bowl was a bit spicy for our taste, but what you would expect for a Mexican flavored dish. Local roots was just okay. It had beets and feta cheeze in it. The Jerk Bowl with jerk chicken was delicious and very filling. Definitely a good choice. The Thai bowl is always good too! Definitely will be back to this location at Hilldale mall in Madison, WI. Nice outdoor tables to eat at!
It appears that customers can no longer create their own salad specifying ingredients of their choosing.Anyway, I dined their twice recently selecting the cashew bowl with chicken. The first time, it was quite pleasing and a slice of bread was offered. The second time, no bread was offered AND when it was too late, I realized the chicken had NOT been included. (Second time was June 17, 2022 approximately 5:30PM).
Staff friendly. Clean eco-friendly space. Food great as usual. One of my Favorite places to eat in Madison.

I was very skeptical of this place but it's really pretty good! Not as overpriced as I thought, but adding meat adds up. A ramen place will charge a dollar for an egg they marinate for four hours, but Forage charges double that for a plain egg :/ Only use the plastic/plant starch forks, the metal ones aren't always clean.
my parents and i love getting salads from Forage!! it is like the sweetgreen of madison! our go to salads are the kale caesar and the beet salad!
I was guaranteed a raise and was told it would be on my next check. Then I get my check and I then asked why isn't my raise on and the response was they changed their mind. Since when is is ever okay to guarantee someone pay and say hey just kidding I lied. 0 out of 10. Wouldn't recommend this company.
Great restaurant but online ordering is abysmal. Staff have gotten my order wrong last few times I’ve ordered and I’ve ended paying more for what I receive.
Amazing service plus some really great healthy options. I like to go vegan with my meals here and their options are plentiful! They also have a lot of great sides like vegan cookie dough or some home brewed kombuchas. Love coming here!
