The first time I had five guys it was in Washington DC and it was delicious, I've had it a few times in Madison and it's been awhile since I've eaten there. Not as good as I remember and definitely not worth $18 for a little cheeseburger, little fries and vanilla shake. But, the employees were all so friendly and great customer service.
5 Guys is always great, their burgers are always super good. Cooked fully and flattened so you get the crispy bits around the edges. The fries are always good, and you get lots. Order a size smaller than you think you need it you'll end up with left over fries. They are a little pricey, but well worth it, would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a good burger joint. They have good shakes too
Honestly just avoid any restaurant that has a $20 hamburger and won’t take anything larger than 50 or 100 and will just tell you it’s fake when your whole wallets full of them, The 50 bucks I was going to use tore it up into confetti paper and put it in the tip jar guess if it’s fake why do we even use it in America. Update Culver’s down the street is packed, makes sense why your empty they took my 50$ SAD YOUR BURGER IS BETTER, update the kwiktrip next door at midnight accepts 50 and 100s. Update 2:30 am kwiktrip took a 50 for only a pack of smokes that was 9$
F this place! Made a $25 order handed over a $50 bill and they refused my money for no reason but they are not allowed to take bills that large. This was the first time in 5 years that I have been to a Five Guys. It will be the last. I thought I would give them another shot after my last experience there. Bad idea! I guess cash is not good enough for them. I wouldn't trust my cc information with them anyway due to their security breach in 2012. Buh-bye Five Guys!
Messed our order twice and still didn't have it right. Dinning area messy. Had to clean my own table. Not worth the money.
Overpriced and the bag is too flimsy. When I dump my extra large fries into the bag, the grease sometimes tears through. When that doesn't happen, I just pour malt vinegar and ketchup in and shake it up. The bits on the bottom dissolve and turn into a mushy paste. The vinegar, ketchup, and salt all combine into a ceviche-like effect, and the rare undercooked fries cook in the acidity. The bacteria from the bag mixes with my gut biome, so my personality gets a little more aggressive. After viscerally devouring all the employees in a bloody scrawl, the ketchup-bit paste activates and I collapse in a folded heap of broken limbs. I like to finish off my nightmare with a chocolate malt.Anyway the burgers are overpriced but pretty good. Culver's is unfortunately just down the road.
Good food, but what happened to the fries? They give you a tiny cup of about 15 fries for $5 that's a rip
The good is great. They give generous portions. The Cajun fries are my addiction. The staff is friendly and everything has been great every time I go.
Was busy as expected...no issues ordering g & wait time was as expected.However...the tables were being cleaned in a timely manner & I do understand that the trash has to be taken out but don't feel it has to be wheeled out in large noisy trashcans while the dinning area was full.Followed by that...a lovely incident of teenage boys coming in causing problems such as...throwing gang sings...yelling & throwing chairs at the cashier...& at the register was a bit alarming since we had our granddaughter with us & other families with small children as well.
ordered a b.lt. wasn't expecting it on a bun . bacon was way over cooked had to open it and eat with a fork. F.F. were good however they dumped most if them in the bag making the bag greasy . Do not take it to go if you don't want grease all over. They need to fix there soda dispenser so you can get what you want.
